great company, fast reAsons
Claims payments are fast, easy to make a claim. Able to talk with a real person (who speaks English and is not from a call center in Asia); able to answer questions about coverage. And, claims are paid FAST!

Our dog Bella was attacked by a neighbor's dog and we took her to the emergency vet where she had surgery and drain tubes put in. She healed quickly and is healthy again. Knowing we had the pet insurance gave us peace of mind.

kind of slow on reimbursement
Our dog has continuing coverage on his policy. Our vet feels that prevention is worth a pound of cure and wants him to use ear drops for yeast once a week. We have had the scrip refilled 3x and each time it seems to take longer to get reimbursed. Also, I think a note in the file should suffice so that the doc does not have to continually fill out forms.

Smokey had benign but large tumor removed from his face recently. I appreciate any reimbursement possible as the surgery was expensive for me on a fixed income. I can wish that the % of reimbursement was more but what I recieved helped.

Friendly customer service
In my case , I do not feel this insurance if worth it. By the time I met my deductable, the year is up and I now have another deductable. I have never collected a dime on the policy for illness. They are very prompt and nice people to deal with.

Prompt, personable and professional!!
I am *extremely* happy with Embrace Pet Insurance. I am a recently-new customer; I have 2 rescued cats with special-needs but who are both healthy now thank goodness. One/female cat was born blind; one/male cat has PTSD from being terrorized on the streets from where he was finally rescued; both were 'feral' and both are the dearest pets one could ever know. I'd been dealing with customer-care meltdown at our local St. Louis Park, MN branch of Banfield Pet Hospital; massive turnover in staff and a new office manager nothing like the previous one I'd had such wonderful help from over the years. I was in the midst of changing to a new/local vet clinic, City Cat Clinic, which is great. That's when I heard about Embrace from a relative who'd just gotten it & was very pleased. I signed up my kitties & the service from Embrace has been just GREAT: so caring and personable, very prompt with my 1st refund check, and very helpful with advice and troubleshooting re: my timelines. I have used Embrace for my 1st/new vet appointment: annual checkup for my blind kitty girl, and all went smooth as silk - really a treat.I highly recommend Embrace and its tremendous "Embracer" online customer-service/claim staff to customers everywhere.

After spending thousands of dollars trying to save one of my cats from an accident, I decided to get pet insurance for my other cat, Tita. Later on, we adopted a dog from the Humane Society, Lucy. My vet recomended ASPCA Pet Insurance. So far, I made a few claims to ASPCA. It is very easy to file a claim (fax, mail, etc.)and my money has been reinbursed very quickly. Once you file a claim the company sends you emails to update the status of your claim. I am glad I decided to que pet insurance.
