hello there. I love love love trupanion. So far they are great. They cover 90% of the bill. But do not cover yearly vaccinations, the initial vet fee to check out your pet ie. mine is $47.00, and they also in canada do not cover the taxes which is unfortunate, but their reason behind it is justifiable. We took our dog in on a monday and after faxing off the paperwork that day I recieved an email stating it had been recieved and will be reviewed. That thursday I got an email saying that it have been processed along with the break down of whats covered, whats not, and how much the cheque will be made out for. And the following monday (just one week later) I got the cheque in the mail. Very very impressed. Thanks Trupanion.

Great service, great plan, everyone should have
I am a new dog owner and purchased the insurance as a precaution. 5 weeks into owning my dog she ate an entire chocolate orange and I had to take her to the emergency vet. While the pet insurance did not cover the entire amount, it did cover some and it was very helpful. I would highly recommend buying the ASCPA pet insurance.

Easy, Helpful... So Glad We Have Pets Best
I've had Pets Best insurance for about 3 years now and with an active dog, we've had about a claim per year. Each has been resolved quickly and easily (their website is great). The one time I did have questions, the customer service person I spoke with was knowledgeable and pleasant. Our vet even mentioned that Pets Best is her favorite insurance provider to work with. I've been very pleased.

Surprised and pleased!
My Husky recently turned 9 and I realized I'd better get some insurance. My vet recommended ASPCA and after doing some comparisons, I decided to go with them. I got the total plan, including wellness coverage. I'm glad I did and am very pleased with the plan and the company. I received a very low reimbursement for my first claim for a teeth cleaning and two abstractions. I called ASPCP to inquire why and found out my vet had made a mistake in filing. Michelle, the agent I worked with, helped me get the correct information from the vet and then initiated an in-house review so that I got the adjusted amount quickly. I really hadn't expected an insurance company to be so concerned about getting me the biggest reimbursement possible. I have filed some claims since and have been very fairly reimbursed. The policy ain't cheap, but it's well worth the peace of mind I get from knowing my dog has as good coverage as the other members of my family.

Lifesaver!
I joined Trupanion and have not regretted it. My dog came down with persistent pneumonia a few months after becoming insured. I was slightly concerned about submitting a claim so early, but Trupanion paid 90% of his fees, totaling approximately $3000, no deductible. It was simple, fast, and fair. We aren't out of the woods yet with his pneumonia, but it gives me great peace of mind that I can give him the care he deserves and that Trupanion is an honest insurance company. An insurance company with integrity, who knew!

Excellant insurance company
I have had Pets Best for a year. I had 4 cats and 4 dogs. They were the only insurance company who were affordable and would insure my old pets. Two of my dogs are geriatric and have complicated medical histories. Pets Best has been great at sorting out the coverage and paying me promptly for all of my claims. I highly recommend Pets Best. My claims are paid within two weeks.

First claim made . . . took a bit long but in the future it will be smoother (as they now have her bulky file). Was a bit skeptical in pet insurance companies . . . but this has given me the confidence for future incidents:)
