I DO NOT RECOMMEND PET BESTS

They are claiming a condition pre-existed when I had insurance 2 months before my dog went into surgery for a "mole" to be removed. Then during surgery they VET found lumps. So, now I am not getting reimbursed due to Pet Best saying the condition preexisted. How am I supposed to know my dog has lumps when they were internal and not showing. I have paid Per Best almost over $150 for insurance and now I had to pay $1,200 for VET fees that will not be reimbursed now! What a horrible experience with this company. I am out a lot of money but I thought I was covered and safe.

Highly recommend

I wanted to wait to write a review until I had a large claim which unfortunately happened sooner than later. My English Bulldog tore his CCL at just over a year old. At first the claim was denied due to the vet tech at the surgeon's office writing an inflated time frame for our dog's limping. But we got statements from our regular vet and the specialist and the claim was approved when we appealed it. The first time the claim was submitted I did not hear back in 15 business days and had to email to inquire but the appeal was processed much quicker. I did a lot of research when choosing pet insurance and I am confident I went with the best. But you have to know their rules and regulations. There is a 6 month orthopedic waiting period and if you have issues inside of that they are of course not going to cover it. I find they are always quick to respond to emails and always very nice. Having an English Bulldog pet insurance definitely gives me peace of mind.

Trupanion is fantastic

I am so pleased with Trupanion. We have had a number of pets and have never purchased pet insurance. When we got our Anatolian Shepard puppy, our veterinarian suggested Trupanion. I was hesitant but thought it sounded like a good idea. Boy, I am so glad that we signed up. This dog has been sick more times than my other animals put together. The last vet bill would have just about bankrupted us, but Trupanion paid us quickly with no questions. Trupanion is so simple to use and they pay promptly. I couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately under insured.

I have two cats insured with ASPCA. I am satisfied with the response to the claims that I have submitted for them.I have a membership with this organization and totally support your work. My cat, Rudy has been diagnosed with high grade Lymphoma about a year ago. Unfortunately, I did not have enough insurance on him at that time. I did receive a check for the limit of his coverage ($1500)for this occurance. Since then I have had expenses exceeding $10,000. I know that this is my responsibility for not having him insured enough, and do not hold this against ASPCA insurance. I only wish that there was an option during this illness. It is a difficult financial situation to be in, but he is doing well and as I'm sure that you realize Rudy's health and comfort are what really matters. Thank you.

Life Savers

About 3 days after our insurance kicked in our dog was shot (we still don't know by who). She needed not just an intestinal re-section but a blood transfusion as well. The vets who saved her life are heroes by all accounts, but I count Embrace as a savior as well. If it weren't for the incredible coverage we received we would not have been able to afford Lily's surgeries, and she would not be with us today. We have been incredibly impressed with the level of customer service. The communication has been top-notch and the returns are quick and painless. I endorse Embrace to everyone who will listen. Pet insurance is the best decision we've made for our pets, by far.

the personal touch is the most impressive of all!

my boston, petunia, has been "embraced" for two years now, and the communication, care and quick response to claims is equal to none. i have added the wellness to her contract this year, and could not be happier. i purchased an english bull puppy for my son, under the condition that he also be "embraced" and all is well with his pup. Embrace is the #1 insurance recommended by my vet. can't add much more to that recommendation! corinne & petunia

Very pleased

Incredibly efficient and responsive registration and claim process. This was my first claim and it was a substantial amount, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The entire process from pre-certification, which I recommended if possible, was very simple and easy; each employee I spoke with along the way was extremely courteous and helpful. I don't know why it took me so long to take out a policy with Embrace!
