Could do a tad better regarding reimbursements
I would rate ASPCA higher if they reimbursed a greater percentage of the bill. I have two vets who charge at or below competitive standard rates in a tri-county area and ASPCA claimed that their charges were high in comparison to other vets. Therefore, I did not get a full reimbursement. My past pet insurance company never questioned the bill and paid 100% - but, my premium was substantially higher. And, I have encouraged ASPCA to consider chiropractic adjustments as it has been proven this treatment is a viable precursor to invasive and expensive surgery. I do have concerns after reading other reviews about pre-existing conditions. With that said, I have found that ASPCA has excellent customer service, they are open to suggestions and take the time to answer my questions. I will do a comparative study of other pet insurance companies when I am up for renewal (as I always do, regardless of insurance companies) and if some of these issues are addressed, I will stay with ASPCA.

Embrace is amazing!!
I had a male boxer and he was having some health problems, as boxers do. I looked for insurance for him and at the time only VPI was available. It was the WORST experience of my life! How they broke down their payout was impossible to figure out and when I really needed them when he developed a heart problem they would not coverany of it. They decided to change their policy despite the fact that I began my policy before their breed specific exclusions. Sadly, my boxer baby passed away, but we decided to get another one. This time the number of pet insurance companies was huge and I really researched the best company for our new addition. Embrace has been wonderful and beyond helpful. You cannot find better customer service!!! Thankfully our new boxer hasn't ha any health problems yet, but if he does it is great peace of mind having embraces coverage!

Great customer service
I have filed multiple claims with Embrace for my mischievous little dog and overall, it's been a great experience. The claims process is simple and Embrace staff is very responsive. They always send prompt emailed receipt confirmations, status updates, and even simple assurances that a claim is still in process if it's taking slightly longer than usual. Which has only happened once - and even then, everything was settled within one month. To be fair, it's the only pet insurance company I've used, but I haven't considered switching. I would recommend Embrace to anybody interested in pet insurance.

Very happy with services and quick returns.
Have a 6 month old male Sheltie and insurance plan offers many options, not seen in other pet plans. Pleased with customer service and quick returns after mailing out the forms, etc for processing. Staff are very friendly and professional and able to deal with any problems immediately. Recommend over other plans - even those from the AKC.

Too many ways not to pay the policyholder
Pets Best has an attractively uncomplicated procedure, but manages to find innumerable excuses for paying pay as little as possible on every claim. After almost a year with PB, i have paid in $900 for two dogs, and received only $340 total on 10 claims, most for more than $500.I've cancelled my policy.
