Pretty quick getting reimbursed
I'm pretty happy with the turn around time with claims. The only thing I'm on the fence about is the wellness program. It covers $200.00 annually and cost $180.00 and I need to wait to get my my money back. It's only saving me ten percent and I have to tie up my cash for a few weeks. I'm considering dropping that portion of the plan where as I don't think I get enough bang for my buck...

Embrace has been wonderful to me & my lab, Ciatto, and has taken every opportunity to do their best and to work hard to finish claims and get a check out to us promptly. This is my first time with pet insurance....and Im soooo glad I picked Embrace...I would recommened them to anyone!! The time of claim would of taken less time...but it was my fault since they were waiting on me to get more info from my vet. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance cannot be beat!
My Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, JollyMon, had not seen a vet since he completed his puppy shots in July of 2011. Then on April 10th he had to go in for an ear infection. We had a check from Healthy Paws on the 11th! Then on Saturday the 14th, he quit eating. We knew something was wrong, even though he still wanted to play. We took him to WestVet Emergence Hospital on Sunday morning, as he was suffering from diarrhea and vomiting, and still would not eat. He had to spend the night in the hospital, where he received the very best care possible. By Monday he was much better, and the next day he was back to his old self!! We felt lucky that we had Healthy Paws pet insurance, as they processed our claim right away. And, we received a follow-up email from them, inquiring about how JollyMon was doing!! It is emergence care like this that can wipe out a budget when a pet is not insured! We are happy to endorse Healthy Paws without hesitation!!

Quick, easy, painless...
My dog Jilly had to have bladder surgery. Luckily Trupanion saved the day. My claim was handled with care and I was reimbursed in a timely manner. The only thing I was surprised by, was that I had to pay the taxes. Guess I should have read the fine print. No matter, all's well that ends well. Jilly is recovering quickly, all thanks to Trupanion.

Not happy but not giving up yet!
I followed the directions on the claim form but was constantly getting emails asking for more information. Zach is a rescue dog and I provided everything I had. After some time passed I called and explained everything. It turned out Embrace needed the vet notes for the orthopedic exam the was done last July. If they had mentioned that when I applied and was approved, I would have supplied it. It took numerous phone calls and emails to straighten this out. I was stunned at how fast they let me know I wasn't covered for something I submitted yet it has taken 4 months to let me know about the eye problem. If this had been a terrible illness, the stress of dealing with embrace would not have been worth it. My policy expires in July - I will be doing more research before renewing it. I am hoping this was a one off!

ASPCA insurance staff are very helpful and caring. Unfortunately, it takes a very long time to process a claim (over a month).

A Company That Follows Up
I have two pets insured with ASPCA Pet Insurance. When a claim is submitted, whether by email or by fax, I always receive a phone message or an email stating the claim was received. When payment is made, I receive another phone message stating the claim was paid and reimbursement is on the way. What more can one ask for from a company. Great follow-up, timely reimbursements and the knowledge that my some of the monies spent in vet fees when my pets have an accident, will be returned to me. Everyone is so cordial on the phone and so very helpful. My hat goes off to the person that trains the customer service personnel.
