I have never had to use my insurance but it came highly recommended by my best friend who works in a Vet Clinic.
I have never had to use my insurance but it came highly recommended by my best friend who works in a Vet Clinic. Every time I've dealt with the company has been a positive experience. The people that work on the customer support have been polite and friendly.

We do wish Trupanion offered a wee discount for seniors on a fixed income. The monthly fee is hard for us. However, through the years, we have had all our dogs registered with Trupanion & been deeply grateful for their financial support when desperately needed! Thank-you Trupanion!! Hollae

We chose Trupanion believing that we did not have to pay anything over our $500 deductible to our veterinary clinic and Trupanion and the clinic would handle the balance.
We chose Trupanion believing that we did not have to pay anything over our $500 deductible to our veterinary clinic and Trupanion and the clinic would handle the balance. This was our first claim and now we understand this is not the current process. We recommended Trupanion to our daughter and she signed on for the same reason we did. Disappointing that we had to file our first claim before we knew there had been a change in the process.

Super helpful and friendly customer service on the phone when I had questions! But I sure wish the deductible wasn't quite as high per condition/injury. We are having a lot of little $200 incidents for our puppy, but that hopefully will improve as she gets older and the coverage will cover more for us.
