Embrace Pet Insurance truly Embraced me
Embrace Pet came to my rescue when my beautiful Australian was bitten by a bee. They took care of the bill and I took care of the co-payment. Wonderful Customer Service
My almost two year-old golden retriever has had more health issues than we can keep track of. We signed up for Healthy Paws shortly after we realized that we were dealing with an allergy-sensitive dog and likely had many more vet bills in our future. Every time I've submitted a claim I've received my reimbursement check within a week. Their customer service is excellent and there is no haggling for coverage. I also recently decreased my percent reimbursement that was to take effect next month. However, in the intervening time my golden was hospitalized with a gastric obstruction. Healthy Paws took the time to carefully review my account and reimbursed me at my original (higher) level since the lower reimbursement had not yet taken effect when the illness occurred. Not many insurance companies are that honest (pet or human!) I highly recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owner. The monthly payment is definitely worth the assurance that you won't be left with a huge vet bill in case of any emergency.

Definitely Worth It.
We are very pleased with the prompt and fair handling of all our all of our cliams for our boxers. We have never had any problems with this carrier over the 3 years of coverag. We would highly recommend purchasing a policy for your pets.

I thought about pet insurance for a long time, I thought that I could try to save $$ in a savings account for if anything happened to my dog, after a few months of savings I only saved $160. My neighbor had mentioned pet insurance one day and I began to think about pet insurance a bit more, I looked at a few companies and found that Trupanion had many excellent reviews. I enrolled with them and good thing I did - 1 week later my dog tore her cruciate ligament!($2500 - much more than the $160 I had in my savings!)Trupanion was quick to preapprove her diagnostics and her surgery and sent out her check the next day after her surgery. I am very happy with Trupanion and will never go without!

Integrity in handling an $8,000 claim
Four days after I had knee surgery my dog became paralyzed from the waist down. It was a disastrously stressful time. He was diagnosed with disk disease and 2 disks had herniated causing the paralysis. An emergency surgery was scheduled and there was not enough time to have the claim pre-approved. I went ahead with the surgery but was very nervous about my claim being paid out because it was going to be such a huge bill. The total was just under $8,000. When I submitted my claim, Embrace warned me that they were a bit backed up with claims and it would take longer than expected. Though it did take a while, Embrace agents kept e-mailing me and keeping me in the loop. In the end Embrace paid out $7,000. They covered 90% of the claim minus the $100 deductible, exactly as promised. The company did not try to weasel out of the claim and handled the claim with integrity, following through on everything that was promised before I signed up. Furthermore, they did not drop me as a client and sent me an e-mail about renewing my policy while all of this was going on. I have definitely become a walking advertisement for Embrace. It is rare to find companies that actually do as promised and when I find one, I definitely like to spread the word.
