Reimbursement delayed
The first claim I submitted will require a month to process. When I submitted the claim, the acknowledgement stated 5-10 days. And then after following up, I was required to provide documentation delaying the claims even longer. It has been 20 days since the first claim was submitted. I will follow up again. Needless to say, I’m researching other insurance options.

Spot has made pet emergencies not so nerve racking. Knowing that they are there financially when needed is a blessing. I had to take my boy to the vet and the bill was $1000. I wasn't sure how I could afford that but they reimbursed me 80% after my deductible. Thank goodness!!! I highly recommend them for your fur babies needs!!

Spot is the best !!
This was my first time having to submit a claim to Spot. My cat needed to see the vet for some vomiting and diarrhea issues and I uploaded the bill and was reimbursed in a matter of days. Such a smooth and easy process..thank you Spot ..

Disappointing Experience
Trupanion has a misleading insurance model. Their frequent and significant price increases in the monthly fees comes as a surprise, cannot be justified under questioning and, hence, are indefensible. They provide notifications out of the blue, citing organic rises in costs, and when asked for specifics on those increases cannot support what has been recently a 30%/month fee increase. They misstated our dog's medical history and basically flailed around trying to justify the above increase. I am sorry we signed up initially. I would avoid these folks in favor of other organizations

Embrace Pet is a money grubbing🤑ripoff!
Embrace Pet is a VERY🚫 BAD choice if you are looking for reputable and reliable pet insurance. My mixed terrier's coverage almost doubled (from $48 to $85@month without notification or a reason for the big increase 🤑I've never filed a claim for my pet over the 2+years that we had a policy with Embrace Pet. They're just another BIG RIPOFF!

Jan, your agent, was very slow, hard to understand, and kept asking me to repeat myself. She had no logical way to explain my premium increase, although I've not had any claims paid out. Also, the credit card update was very tedious and took much longer than with other companies.

I’m new to pet insurance
I’m new to pet insurance. When I would call and ask questions about my claims, they were always courteous and reassured me that they were reviewing, and they would let me know. I was very pleased when I received reimbursement back for my pet incident. I would definitely recommend pet insurance if you have a high active breed of dog

More insurance company shenanigans
This company sits at what is wrong with insurance these days--I had to create a second account for another animal per their rules and when confusion arose concerning billing and cancellation, they refused to reinstate my account even though the cancellation was unintentional and involved a compromised credit card. The agent agreed to reinstate my account after getting "approval" then the next day they canceled that "approval". They raised rates every year.
