Piece of mind for emergencies
I have this coverage for emergency conditions, not wellness. It has worked well managing the cost of injuries and wellness. I was disappointed in the past that mouth cancer was considered dental and not covered.

Scam & very misleading
We paid for the 90% plan -They do anything to get out of paying. Two claims totaling $360 we were covered only $174 ($74 check to us bc of the $100 yearly deductible. I canceled the service and contested all charges since may on my amex card. You are better off putting the $60/month you would pay to them away in your own savings account. Completely worthless. What I don't understand is they slash the medicine costs and only cover a small portion because of "reasonable & customary charges" for that medicine. They tell me they use the average of the 3 leading online pet pharmacies and tell me that vets mark up medicines. With that said my other option would be to order online, wait 3-4 more days to get my dogs medicine. If they were looking out for the best interest of our animals they would understand it's better to pay the vet and get your medicine immediately than wait 3-4'days from an online pharmacy when your dog is sick and needs the medicine right then. All around scam.

I wouldn't own another pet without embrace
Our pet had a spinal injury at only 15 months old. Very thankful for embrace they helped us through a tough time. It is bad enough to worry about your sick pet never mind the expense. embrace helped make that part easier. Peace of mind with pet insurance hopefully you won't need it but embrace was there for us when we did.

Embrace is horrible!!!
Claims are being denied for "wellness", when wellness is not what my dog was brought in for. She had non-wellness issues that I sought to get remedied by her vet.

Peace of Mind
Moses, my American Mastiff, fractured his tibia and racked up quite the bill at the local emergency room. In the midst of my concern for him and terror at the size of the bill, I suddenly remembered that I have Embrace Insurance. I immediately relaxed and was able to concentrate on Moses and the doctor, and be "present" rather than scrambling for ways to pay the bill. The claim settlement arrived in a timely fashion, with no surprises. I would never own a dog of any size without Embrace.

Very Happy Customer
This is our first experience with pet health insurance. Ourpuppy ingested some carpet fibers that got lodged in her intestines. We had to take her to the emergency Hospital, which is much more expensive than our regular vet. (Of course, she showed symptoms on a holiday.) Luckily, she did not need surgery, but the bill was very expensive. The claim was submitted, and within a month we were reimbursed by ASPCA for the bulk of the vet fees. This insurance is WONDERFUL! Thank You ASPCA!

A Great Decision
We have both a dog and a cat insured with Healthy Paws. Both pets have had some issues, and Healthy Paws gives us peace of mind knowing that we can always give our pets the best treatment options available without having to worry about costs. We have realized that no matter how good of care we take of our pets, they will occasionally get sick or injured. Even a minor illness or injury can become very costly if special tests or surgery are required. Healthy Paws processes claims in an expedient manner and provides a clear explanations of benefits. Healthy Paws allows us to choose what veterinarian we use and follow his or her recommended course of treatment. They do not require any pre-authorizations and there is no "out-of-network" or alternate reimbursement scale. One major advantage over their competitors is that like our human insurance, their is only one annual deductible, whereas some pet insurers have a "per illness" deductible. They will even review your pets' records for you before you purchase insurance to verify any pre-existing conditions. We have recommended Healthy Paws to our friends and family. The truth is, because of Healthy Paws, our pets are afforded every option for a long and healthy life.

I had submitted a wellness claim for my dog's routine office visit and routine shots. The claim was quickly processed and there were no issues. I did not have to call in and fight for my payment!! Great working with them!

Healthy Paws Insurance the best by far!
Our handsome Cockapoo Smokey suffered a CCL tear about a month ago and underwent surgery to correct the condition just two weeks ago. He is progressing very well and is happy to know his owner is extremely well pleased with the results of the surgery and the manner in which Healthy Paws has handled his claim. The staff at Healthy Paws has far exceeded my expectations with regards to processing my claim, and they have taken a personal interest in Smokey's recovery. The claim was processed in a timely and orderly fashion and I am now awaiting arrival of the reimbursement check.
