accident insurance only
My elderly dog has an accident only policy (all I could get for her.) She fell down the stairs and couldn't walk. Took her to the vet and they diagnosed back injury and said she needed emergency surgery. The bill was $4500. Submitted the claim and Embrace said it was considered "Illness" not accident and denied the claim. I imagine anything that happens to an old dog could be denied due to "illness." Broken leg? The dog probably has arthritis.

Fantastic customer service
My puppy dislocated his patella jumping and had to have surgery. I was such a stressful situation and Trupanion made it so much easier. Just knowing I had pet insurance and that I was able to get the best care for my little guy made it more tolerable.

Love Embrace Pet Insurance
Although my experience with being an Embrace customer is short lived, I have, however, had occasion to make a claim for my 6-year old dachshund who was diagnosed with SARDS. The live interaction with the Embrace employe who helped me through my first claim process was a pleasant one. He was courteous and very helpful in the steps I needed to take, emailed me the claims form. The claim determination took a few weeks, but that is to be expected. I received a satisfactory disposition on my claim and a check is in the mail! Doesn't get any better. I am so glad I decided to go with Embrace and purchase pet insurance for my TWO dachshunds. It provides peace of mind for those unexpected, unwanted and costly procedures which sometimes are required. A happy camper!! Joyce B

I recently got a Lab puppy and wanted to get insurance for him just in case. Embrace had such good reviews I decided to try them. They also have a wellness plan which thankfully is all I've used so far. To be reimbursed was a breeze and the check came right away.

Healthy Paws is so much more than I even expected
After reviewing lots of different options I chose to go with Healthy Paws after reading outstanding review -- now I know why. Their customer service is phenomenal! There's no confusion about what they cover--it's very clear once you decide which plan you want. The claims I've submitted have been processed within one day. This was especially helpful recently as one of my dogs had to have major (and expensive) surgery. I would highly recommend them.

FABULOUS - Just FABULOUS
I cannot say enough good things about this company. An annual deductible (as opposed to a per-incident deductible). Fantastic reimbursement plans (up to 90%). A comprehensive pre-existing condition review up front, so you know exactly what (if anything - and for our two dogs, we had NONE) pre-existing conditions might be excluded. Talk about peace of mind. Reimbursement is sent out in days upon receipt of the claim form. I could go on and on. I hope they are in business forever - simply fantastic.
