ASPCA health insurance saved us alot of money.
We have 2 cats , 1, 10 yrs old 1, 6 yrs old. Our 6 yr old Tuxedo , domestic short hair, had to have his teeth cleaned for tarter build up and 1 extraction . A couple weeks later he had bladder broblems,(Bladder Stones) and needed surgery. For around 1,600 dollar in charges for both procedures we had to pay about 450.00. You never know when you'll need Insurance.

Raise in premiums is criminal.
After one year with Trupanion our monthly premium was raised from $40.35 to $94.17. During this first year we only had one claim and it was minimal. It very much seems like a "bait and switch" where a company lures us with a great price and then more than doubles it after one year. This business practice seems criminal.

Excellent
My experience with the claims we submit to Trupanion have been great. They are true to their word with very few restrictions and breed predispositions. They are timely with processing the claims and getting the checks to me. I have and will continue to recommend this insurance company to the clients at my practice

I'm happy with Embrace!
I looked around, and Embrace had the best policy that I could find. They have great communication and very friendly staff. They sent my reimbursement check very quickly. I had my dog neutered, and they covered $400 of it. Embrace is great!

Very pleased....
Although I have been an Embrace customer for several years for 3 of my dogs, the very reason that I chose to obtain insurance arose this past fall when one of my dogs was diagnosed with a possible heart murmur. The trip to the vet and the speciality animal hospital for additional tests were significantly more than the usual claims that we submit. Thankfully my little one is just fine and my claims were handled quickly and efficiently. The feedback that Embrace maintains with their customers through the claims paying process is fabulous. Kudos to Embrace for a job well done.

dog ate a foreign object
Trupanion was very easy to work with. It was the smoothest process I have ever had with an insurance company.

Healthy Paws is awesome!
I recently adopted Jake, he is 11 months and he experienced muscles spasms a few times. He had recently been given some chicken jerky (made in China) and after reading all the issues caused by these treats. I took him to the Vet. They ran blood tests, urine tests and those can be costly...I am specially pleased because Healthy Paws covers holistic care. Jake's test came normal and was very pleased. Muscle spasms must have been too much excersice. They were wonderful on their follow ups to make sure I submitted all the correct information. Very deligent and a pleasure to deal with! Thank you so much!!

Found a way not to pay
I used ASPCA for the first time and am extremely unhappy with the company. They found a way to disapprove the initial claim and then deny my appeal. They have a clause which basically denies any claim related to a behavorial issue. It turned out to be a loophole to deny almost anything. Stay away!
