Healthy Paws works with no hassle!!
Our rescue lab just turned one when he started shivering and spiked a fever in the middle of the night. He ended up having to stay at the emergency vet for 24 hours to diagnose and monitor his condition. After we brought him home, I filed the claim online with Healthy Paws and the claim was quickly processed and accepted. A week later, I refilled his antibiotic and submitted a claim for the cost of the pills, which was also quickly accepted. We received checks in the mail for both claims within 2 weeks! I would highly recommend this company to any pet parent looking for pet insurance, I can't imagine an easier company to work with or one that has better coverage.

Great Dog Insurance
This is the second dog I have covered using Embrace insurance. Never a problem with reimbursement. Always kept up to date via e-mails on reimbursement claims, plus you could always go into your account and see the updates there. Their policy is straight forward and not confusing. Other pet insurance policies had lists of what was and what wasn't covered. I am very happy with them.

Great service, quick reimbursements!!
I have had this insurance for over 7 years with no need to use it...thank goodness!! I was nervous about sending in claims and worried that I would have to hound them to get a reimbursement, but it was just the opposite ;) I sent in the required paperwork, and within a couple of weeks I had refund checks!! Not only that, I received a follow up email ensuring I was happy with my experience. Great Service!!

So Nice To Have
I decided to get pet insurance after losing my first fur baby to cancer and was left with over $5,000.00 in credit card debt. I now have a 2yr old Westie with a fantastic ins. plan. He's covered head to toe, lol. A few months ago he started having stomach issues. I did not hesitate taking him to see his vet and then a specialist. After blood work, ultrasound and several other tests, thankfully he is fine. I submitted the claims totaling almost to $1,500 to Embrace and within 10days I received my reimbursement checks. I could not be happier with their customer service.

First Claim Covered :)
My puppy had to get his baby teeth removed since they weren't falling out on their own. Bought my insurance plan, and before going anywhere they told me what they needed to get me started. Vet information, previous exams ect. Once everything was cleared, I took him to the dentist, he got his surgery and a teeth cleaning. All cost $600. I got it done on 11/2, put in my claim through the wellness plan the next day. By the 5th it was received and being processed. On the 9th they sent me an email telling me the check has been sent, and I received it today on the 16th. I am one happy girl right now. Let's see if they keep it up :)

TPLO for my Dog
My English Labrador Retriever needed to have TPLO surgery since he partially tore his ACL. My normal vet referred me to a specialty veterinary hospital for the TPLO surgery. The Specialty hospital Dr provided me with his written prognosis and that my dog needed TPLO surgery. I submitted the Drs notes along with my invoices I paid and within 2 weeks VPI paid all but $134.00 of a $3000.00 procedure. I also took my dog to rehab at the specialty hospital once a week that cost $60 per visit and VPI reimbursed me for the rehab as well. I have had VPI since I got Brody when he was 7 weeks old and they have always been great with payments and explanations.

Great decision
Deciding to insure my new puppy after our last dog died of cancer was a no brainer. Deciding on which company to choose was a little harder. I chose trupanion because I liked the one time deductible per disease/disorder. I like how they cover most conditions and have less exclusions than other companies. Unfortunately I was not planning on needing coverage until my dog was older- but now as a 2 year old he has injured his cruciate ligament ( ACL) - trupanion has been great, covered everything and pre approved the surgery. Saved my marriage and my dog!!!!!!

Very disappointing to see my rates triple
I signed up for Pets Best when my vizsla was a puppy and was happy with the rate of $400/year with a $75 deductible. A year later I did need to use it and I was pleased with the prompt response when I did file a claim. But beware of the disclosure inI the policy that tells you that the premium rate is not guaranteed as your pet gets older. I have seen my premium triple. This year it went to $1200, with a $500 deductible. They said that it has nothing to do with claims made but my dog is 9 years old and had a knee replacement last year. Even with insurance I paid a lot out of pocket. I am canceling my policy rather than paying this huge increase.. When my dog is getting older and I had expected to have insurance for a serious illness, I can't afford it and may not be able to care for my dog when she really needs it.
