Incredibly responsive company
lI had the misfortune to my beloved dog have two major occurances of different cancers. FIrst a melanoma that was treatable and then hemangioma that is advanced, requiring emergency surgery and possible chemotherapy. This was 4 surgical procedures in a matter of 5 weeks. Never once did Healthy paws hesitate to pay my claim. It is stressful enough to deal with cancer and then to go into serious debt as a result. I would do it all again regardless of insurance but this company has been a life saver for me and my dog.The claims are handeled quickly and with a follow up call to check on your animal. I have had other more extensive insurance that refused to pay a claim on another dog.Their claim of comprehensive coverage was false. This is the insurance to have..I have reccommended it to my vets..Thank You Healthypaws for lw=etting me sleep at night.

Must have for pet owners
I have two shelter dogs, and I have ASPCA insurance for both of them. This time we visited a vet for an annual check up, and a my vet office submitted claims, so I didn't have to do anything. It is very convenient!

An Insurance Company That Cares
Healthy Paws is so easy to work with! Our 2.5 year old pup had to spend a night in the emergency vet clinic due to stomach issues. The clinic submitted the claim on our behalf, and within a couple of days the claim check arrived. The one thing that really stood out, however, was a personal email from Healthy Paws checking in on Izzi and her tummy issues.Healthy Paws is an insurance company who seems to care! highly recommended!

Every little bit helps
This is my first year with pet insurance and been very glad I have had it. With 3 dogs, vet bills can get expensive at times. Every little bit helps with the bills and having this pet insurance is my safety net. Should have done this years ago!

Boxer was ill with vomiting and diarrhea for a few days before vet visit. Very glad we had coverage for nearly all of the vet charges. Claim was handled swiftly and with explanations detailed.

Lymphoma
Mitzi developed lymphoma right after her fourteenth birthday. Her trips to Virginia Maryland Teaching Hospital were weekly for five months of chemo. Thanks to her insurance plan most of her treatment was covered and I spent those months with my beloved little dog. The chemo was successful and Mitzi was in remission. Pet insurance is very important if your pet is considered part of your family.
