Unreasonable premium increases
I have been a loyal customer of Trupanion for 2 years now, with a healthy, young, indoor cat. At the end of the first year, they raised my monthly premium by 20% At the end of the second year, they again raised my monthly premium by a further 20% I have never submitted a claim. My monthly premium has gone from $33, up to $50 per month! When I contacted customer service, they told me that they have the right to increase the monthly premiums up to 20% more every year, at their discretion! I am very unhappy with the way I am being treated as a customer.

Peace of mind for us with our pet!
We have needed two surgeries for our Frenchy and we are so happy that we bought our insurance from Healthy Paws. They responded quickly once our claim was submitted and paid promptly according to our policy. Truly Great Insurance
I got a shelter dog in May. My neighbor asked me if I had health insurance for him, so I looked into it and signed up with HP because they seemed to have the highest ratings. Shortly after he started hopping and had to have knee/hip surgery. This was followed by three rounds of rehab. HP never second guessed the claims and sent reimbursement checks in a timely manner, completely hassle-free. Getting insurance was the best thing I did for Buster. I never have to worry if I can pay for his medical treatment. Thank you Health Paws!

I love Embrace
I have 3 great Danes, and have had Embrace for over 5 years now. They have always paid claims quickly and efficiently. They cover alternative care without the purchase of an additional rider. They cover office visits. I am a vet tech and I have seen some of the hassles people have with other insurance companies. Beware of plans that do not cover office visits. Often the OV or consult fee at a specialist is the biggest part of your bill. And not only do these companies not cover it, the cost of the office visit does not go towards your deductible. So you have to spend much more than the deductible before they begin to pay. Embrace also pays based on actual costs, not some arbitrary fee schedule. This is very important when comparing policies. Based on a fee schedule, you may get 50% or less of your actual costs, even if you have a 80% policy. Embrace has the best customer service ever. It is easy to get to a real person. Hold times are minimal. Their employees are compassionate and knowledgeable. They are the best!

I purchased this insurance when our Miniature Schnauzer was a puppy. Then she was diagnosed as having a portosystemic shunt when she was about two years old. Ever since then, she has had to stay on a special dog food and take a medication daily (for about three years now). This insurance company has been wonderful, reimbursing me with 90% of the cost of the medication and ongoing blood work and urine tests. I am so glad I purchased this insurance!!!

Healthy Paws Provides Outstanding Service!
I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for my German Shepherd, Riley, since she was three months old. I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The customer service is outstanding with the employees of Healthy Paws being the most knowledgeable, friendly and professional people I have ever had to deal with. Riley just needed major knee and leg surgery and Healthy Paws processed my claim in a fast and efficient manner. I was so thankful to have this insurance as this surgery was so expensive (almost $5000!). It is nice to have the piece of mind knowing that Riley is covered by Healthy Paws. I highly recommend this insurance to all pet owners!
