A Great Decision
We have both a dog and a cat insured with Healthy Paws. Both pets have had some issues, and Healthy Paws gives us peace of mind knowing that we can always give our pets the best treatment options available without having to worry about costs. We have realized that no matter how good of care we take of our pets, they will occasionally get sick or injured. Even a minor illness or injury can become very costly if special tests or surgery are required. Healthy Paws processes claims in an expedient manner and provides a clear explanations of benefits. Healthy Paws allows us to choose what veterinarian we use and follow his or her recommended course of treatment. They do not require any pre-authorizations and there is no "out-of-network" or alternate reimbursement scale. One major advantage over their competitors is that like our human insurance, their is only one annual deductible, whereas some pet insurers have a "per illness" deductible. They will even review your pets' records for you before you purchase insurance to verify any pre-existing conditions. We have recommended Healthy Paws to our friends and family. The truth is, because of Healthy Paws, our pets are afforded every option for a long and healthy life.

Wellness Claim Quick Turnaround
I had submitted a wellness claim for my dog's routine office visit and routine shots. The claim was quickly processed and there were no issues. I did not have to call in and fight for my payment!! Great working with them!

Healthy Paws Insurance the best by far!
Our handsome Cockapoo Smokey suffered a CCL tear about a month ago and underwent surgery to correct the condition just two weeks ago. He is progressing very well and is happy to know his owner is extremely well pleased with the results of the surgery and the manner in which Healthy Paws has handled his claim. The staff at Healthy Paws has far exceeded my expectations with regards to processing my claim, and they have taken a personal interest in Smokey's recovery. The claim was processed in a timely and orderly fashion and I am now awaiting arrival of the reimbursement check. I am wildly enthusiastic about recommending Healthy Paws Insurance to anyone who values personal interest and professional excellence when it comes to dealing with their pets. The usual turn around time on a claim is two weeks or less. The last pair of claims did take longer than normal, however, I was up to date during the process . I the year I have had Embrace no claim was denied. Thanks!

Saved our little puppy's life!
My partner Greg and I started to freak out when our little Diogi, who was a was only a year old, almost died from Inflammatory Bowel Disease and a protein disorder. How could she get so sick so fast? She was having issues retaining her plasma, She ended up needing a transfusion, long term recovery and lifelong meds. Between VCA Rancho Mirage and Pets Best, all our financial issues were resolved quite quickly and Diogi got the best care possible. For roughly $60.00 monthly, the peace of mind is worth every penny. A heartfelt "thank you" goes out to everyone at Pets Best and VCA Rancho Mirage for saving our dogs life. It's our belief that if not for Pets Best and VCA, our puppy would not be here today.

There for us in a very difficult time
When our dog almost died a month ago, the last thing we wanted to worry about was the vet bills piling up. It took all our time and energy just taking care of an old and sick animal. Healthy Paws has a very straight forward claims submission process. Since they are popular, many of the Vets are already familiar with them and offered to submit our claim for us. I expected the reimbursement to take months, but they mailed a check out within the week!
