For My Giselle
My 13 year old dog, Giselle, otherwise healthy was diagnosed with a large splenic tumor that was causing problems for her. Weren't sure if we should operate considering her age but if a spleen ruptures it is not a good way to go and the chances of rupture were great as the tumor was large. Upon consultation with my wonderful vet, Dr. B, we decided to operate. Money was not even a worry or a concern because we had Trupanion. Giselle has done fantastic. Within three days we were actually back to our daily walks. Not only that but the tumor was not cancerous. The cost was substantial but we were able to concentrate on what to do without worrying about the money. Thank you Trupanion and my wonderful vet for recommending it. Incidentally, we signed up for Trupanion when Giselle was 12 years old.

Prompt Payment After Surgery
My dog Katie Marie needed to have her spleen removed because of a growing lesion. The surgery went well and the lab results were a blessing - no cancer. Katie is doing just fine, in fact you would never know she had surgery. Healthy Paws Insurance was wonderful, easy claim submission and prompt payment. I recommend that insurance to any pet parent.

The Best!
I've had dogs all my life and different insurances and it's been my experience in the past that other insurance companies always seemed to find a loop hole for not paying or paid a very little. I believe Pet's Best is very fair and comes through with flying colors when needed. I feel very secure with this company.

Amazing Pet Insurance
Trupanion is truly amazing… my dog escaped from our fenced-in yard and was hit by a car over a holiday weekend. She had a broken foot that required multiple trips to 2 emergency vets and surgery. Without Trupanion, I would never have been able to even consider being able to have this operation done. They pre-approved the claim and had my insurance checks to me in a matter of days after I filed the claim. I was truly astonished at how quickly and easily this was handled! This is still an ongoing recovery and claim process. This is the 2nd time since I adopted my dog that I have needed them and they have come through for me both times!

Great Insurance
I have two dogs. I was using Embrace but switched to Figo. They have been very responsive when asking questions. My only issues are have been that I had to ask specifically what would be an exclusion when purchasing the insurance. They did not come out up front like Embrace. It also takes some time for a claim to be processed. However, I do like that you can submit your own claims online. Lastly, I wish they offered wellness.

Simplicity and satisfaction.
I love how easy and fast it is to file a claim online. I used to have my vet office do it until I realized how faster it is to do it myself. The vet office would take at least a week to do it and then I had to wait for the mail to get to ASPCA, and it would be 2 weeks before I could view the claim online. I now file it online myself and within seconds it is available to track! I love how simple it is to read the explanation of benefits. The website is easy to navigate and pretty straight forward. There was only one time I had to call customer service over something that was my fault regarding my plan. I forgot to add the wellness plan to my new puppy's plan. They were able to fix that for me even though you are only allowed to change your plan once a year. I had been a loyal customer to them for over a year before I insured my second dog through them. ASPCA vales their customers. I only filed one claim in my first year insured by them. I was satisfied with my refund and the simplicity of it all. Days after receiving my new puppy I was at the vet for her first visit. And second. A month later she was hospitalized twice. I filed many claims within the first few months of her life. I am highly satisfied with the service I have received. The only thing I'd suggest improving is the amount of money I am refunded. How great would it be to receive 100% back? Also, it would be nice to be able to not have to pay up front and wait for the money refund. I understand that is not how animal insurance works.

Always Great Service and Response Time!
We initially signed up with Embrace through USAA; noting that the premiums were beyond reasonable. Our prior insurance company had raised their premiums to a ridiculous cost and began excluding basic services. We've been with Embrace for several years. We have several dogs; a few of them are rescues that became part of our family because no one else wanted them. Two of our babies became very ill after a few months and needed emergency Doctor Care. Embrace was there to help us get through those dark times and the cost. I would highly recommen=d using them for your four legged babies.

A real insurance policy!!
I've never had pet insurance on a pet. Last year we purchased an English Mastiff puppy. My vet encouraged me to get pet insurance (trupanion) since my dog was going to be a big boy and might encounter issues over the years. So...we got the insurance. Six months later, 'Moose' found a bottle of ibuprofen and consumed half the bottle. After he began throwing up and acting lethargic we rushed him to the vet. His organs were all failing. He was put on IV's in admitted to the hospital where he stayed for a week. After returning home, he was on numerous medications and a special diet for several months. He is now 100% recovered! Looking back now...his vet bills exceeded $6000. We paid about $700. There was never any discussion with insurance. They approved everything...no questions asked. Much, much better than my own 'people' insurance. Very, very happy with Trupanion! I now have insurance on my other dogs too.
