Great choice of Insurance-wish it had more coverag
I have had ASPCA for 4 yrs now and though I have had few incidents, I really wish it covered more because on those few incidents I had - ASPCA didn't cover as much as I would have needed. Beyond all that, ASPCA is very easy to use, file claims, and has great customer service. It's reasonably priced. The customer service is really good and everyone is knowledgable and pleasant on the phone.

Should have followed my own advice sooner!
As a veterinary professional, I have told pet owners for years to get insurance for their animals. I always said that it helps take the financial aspect out of deciding treatment plans for their members of the family. Finally, I followed my own advice! I'm so glad I did. Trupanion honestly saved my dog and my family from potentially not being able to treat because of finances. Working in the field, I've adopted pets that had some issues, but none unmanageable. Luna has had allergies, and some skin issues. She is almost 6 and one morning she didn't want to eat breakfast. She always eats breakfast. I looked at her and thought she was a little pale so I took her with me to work. Turns out, she was very anemic, and her body was attacking both her red blood cells and platelets! Needless to say, this was a major life threatening medical emergency. Knowing that she had insurance made the decision to treat possible. She needed 2 blood transfusions, hospitalization, multiple meds, and constant monitoring. Everyone I talked to at Trupanion made the process easy, and let me focus on my baby. Once my claim was submitted, I was reimbursed within a week! Now I know that I can provide the best care possible without draining my finances. Luna's happy and still healing and I recommend Trupanion to everyone I know! Thank you for giving me and my family peace of mind! Wish I had done it years sooner!

Thankful to have it
My pup has been to the vet far more than any other dog I've had. He consumes everything he can, whole, without chewing. I got Trupanion and am thankful. The last trip to the vet cost $4500 and they covered over $3600 of it. I recommend them for anyone with a young dog.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - simply the best.
During a routine physical exam, our veterinarian discovered a tissue mass on our dog's spleen and feared the worst. After some preliminary diagnostics, he recommended that the spleen be removed immediately because of the risks associated with a life-threatening internal hemorrhage and the very grim possibility that the mass might be a malignant hemangiosarcoma, an incurable form of cancer, which can only be reliably diagnosed if the entire spleen is sent to a lab. Our dog tolerated the surgery well, and after the stitches removed two weeks later, he was his happy and rambunctious self again. Most importantly, the tissue mass was revealed to be a benign hematoma, for which we are most grateful. Since our dog was a puppy, we had subscribed to the Pet Partners policy offered through the AKC, but when he reached the age of ten, Pet Partners advised us that because of his age, only accidents would be covered going forward. After some research, we found Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, and are very glad we did. Everything but the vet exams was covered, our deductible is low, our claims were settled promptly, customer service personnel are efficient and compassionate, the Healthy Paws Foundation does important work on behalf of dogs less fortunate than ours, and the monthly payment is significantly less than Pet Partners used to charge for more limited plan benefits and a lower reimbursement rate.
