Trupanion is amazing
This is my second review, for my second policy on my second dog. Apparently being my dog is a high risk job because this poor pup developed pancreatitis. Without insurance, I might have just tried to wait out her bowel problems and manic behaviour. BUt it turns out she needed painkillers and an immediate change in diet to rescue her from certain harm. She needed to see the vet, get tests and thanks to Trupanion, we got them. They rock

Trupanion is amazing

Excellent Service !
My one year old kitty, Malee has had a few minor issues since rescuing, the last was hot spots, probably from seasonal allergies when going outdoors for her daily supervised time. Embrace was quick to evaluate and pay the 80% to my account within a week. The last visit was to a holistic Veterinarian, which I like to use as much as possible, avoiding prescription drugs and using natural treatment. I love that Embrace covers this without any limits, just like conventional coverage, which I also use when necessary. I am so glad that I chose Embrace for my beloved fur baby !

ASPCA has been insuring our dog for six years of accident insurance. We have a curious dog who gets into trouble from time to time. Most recently she had an argument with a porcupine. She lost that one. ASPCA came through and save us $1000. of vet bills. It is a good company and acted speedily to help pay the bills.

Thank goodness for Healthy Paws!!!!
I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws!!! From day 1 they have covered everything from my Bullmastiff's allergy treatment to his recent gastric indiscretion which required major surgery! Thanks to Healthy Paws I can take him to the best hospitals and say "Do what ever it takes to make him well and I don't care how much it costs." Used to be a vet tech nan emergency and critical care practice and I saw so many people have to make the decision to put their pet down because there was not enough money for the necessary treatment. I swore I would never have to make that choice. Healthy Paws pays promptly, does not argue or try to weasel out of paying, and they are always happy to talk to me if I have questions. I just signed up my new puppy with them and now I know that she is covered if anything should happen. I LOVE not having to worry about them in terms of their medical care. I know that Healthy Paws has my back!

Canceled my policy when I submitted a big claim
I started with Pets Best in 2014 and had no claims. In 2015 they raised my rates, so I took a bigger deductible from $200 to $500. When my cat got Kidney disease I submitted a bill for $500 and they canceled my policy. They did return the annual premium on a prorated basis. I paid $167 for the year and got back $147. I don't believe they will process the claim even though it occurred prior to my policy canceling. I had to put down my cat a month later and that cost me $67. I won't even submit that even though it occurred prior to cancellation unless the $500 claim is processed. With them returning my premium I broke even. I wouldn't use them again.

Best Purchase Made This Year
Our 10 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel jumped off of our sofa to the floor. In doing so she sustained a neurological injury to her neck - a vertebrae was jutting into the spinal cord causing significant pain. We found this after she an MRI. This was followed by neurosurgery - a very expensive surgery that, fortunately, was completely successful. When I submitted our claim I held my breath wondering how much of the claim would be paid. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the expenses were covered and paid according to the plan we selected - at 80%. Clearly a factor of the plan we selected and also of the integrity of the insurance we purchased via the ASPCA. Obviously there was no attempt on the part of the insurance company to cut corners on this large claim. The insurance plan did everything it said it would do - and did so in a very timely manner in spite of the fact they had to obtain records directly from the vets that treated her. The reimbursement was in my account inside of 10 days. When I shared this fact with others most were surprised and had never heard good news about pet insurance. I am thrilled with this pet insurance plan and highly recommend it to others. I am thankful this coverage exists!

Couldn't be happier!
I could not be more satisfied with Healthy Paws. My dog has had two major surgeries this year, and we could not have performed them without insurance. I am so glad that I have insurance for my dogs that allows me to care for them so well. I recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for pet insurance!
