Thank You
ASPCA has handled our claims swiftly, professionally and we were compensated as promised in our contract. They followed up with a call checking to see how our dog Gracie was doing and making sure that our claim was handled to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the company and their professional approach to service the our pet's needs as well as ours.

Honest ,upfront about what they cover, promt
Every time I have spoken to any Embrace representative they were always very courteous and nice. They were upfront about the conditions they considered pre-existing, at the time I got my coverage. They pay what ever percentage you choose, based upon what the vet actually charges (as long as it's not outrageous of course), as opposed to what they "allow" the vet to charge. That's an important distinction because a lot of the other more well known companies, write in the fine print that they will pay the percentage of what THEY allow a vet to charge, so they say they'll pay, for example 80% but it's 80% of what they deem acceptable for a vet to charge. Unfortunately my dog did get injured severing her ACL and tearing her miniscus, and Embrace checked out my dogs medical records to make sure this injury was not pre-existing, and then promptly sent me the money. I highly recommend this company, I am telling all my friends as well as the Vet, because there are so many companies to choose from, it gets very difficult to decide, and I originally choose this company because of other people's reviews, and I am very happy I did. I especially want to say thank you to Kiersten Williams, an embrace employee, who was wonderful to deal with during this difficult time. Thank you. Miriam McEnroe

Quick and easy
My 16 month old English Spronger Spaniel had a growth that was growing and bleeding. We had it removed. It was benign! Once I reviewed the policy, I followed the instructions and gathered the required documentation and filled out the claim form. I sent all info in. Soon after that I received an e-mail confirmation that my claim had been received and was being reviewed. In a timely manner I received the review of what was eligible to claim and shortly after that I received my check.Thank you for a prompt review and response.

Helpful and easy to file claims
My beabull Bella used to be sick all the time and the vet recommended testing her for allergies. The dog had indeed all possible allergies . The testing and treatment were expensive ($400 + testing and $200 + year long treatment) but ASPCA covered 90% of it. ... I just had to submit the bill and fill-up the claim form...Quite happy with their services and so far, in over 3 years , I never had a claim denied, as it happened previously with VPI.

Fantastic
I have had this insurance for several years and they have always been fast and reponsive to my pet's needs. Recently, one of my cats died. I was devastated, and sent a simple question to the Embrace staff about stopping coverage. In one afternoon they responded to my question, adjusted my coverage, and returned a portion of my monthly coverage fee. I paid for cremation, knowing that Embrace would reimburse the fees. Then Embrace went above and beyond by sending me an email to let me know that they lot a vertual candle in memory of my kitty. That was such a personal touch, and not something they had to do. Just wanted to say that they have always been fast and efficient, but now I know they really care too. Thanks Embrace.

Watch for pre-existing conditions!
I adopted a puppy from the local Humane Society and looked into getting some pet insurance for her after we had a few minor puppy incidents. When I initially signed up, they hit us with a pre-existing condition of a heart murmur (even though it was on ONE vet note and it was when she was severely dehydrated) and several temporary conditions, which if they are seen again in 12 months, will be considered pre-existing. So, this was everything all puppies go through: parasites, diarrhea, vomiting, vaginitis, etc. Now, if our PUPPY gets one of these illnesses in the next 12 months, they won't cover anything related to those. In addition, I have since submitted three claims and had to follow-up on each claim because I either did not agree, or they claimed to not get the information from my vet. When I contested that the heart murmur was a pre-existing condition, they never got back to me until I followed up over a month later over the phone. I will be fair and say the few positives I have had are that customer service has been friendly and helpful and that submitting the claim is easy if you do it via email yourself. However, if you are paying a monthly fee and getting nothing covered, this is not nearly enough for me to stay with a company.

Customer Service is Great
We were impressed with the team and their explanations of benefits for both our dogs. In a world that lacks customer service they get an A++++
