Great experience so far
I have submitted several claims for both of my golden retrievers. One that has had a few flare ups of allergies and my other that has a mammary mass. I have always had my reimbursement within 2 weeks and if I had any questions, every rep I spoke with has been more then happy to help me out. At first they wanted to decline any future masses my one golden would have due to a cysts I had examined before our plan, but once I showed them the cytology report, we were able to narrow down her excluded coverage from all future masses to just follicular sebaceous cysts.

BEWARE
While they have great customer service, the rate hikes are outrageous. Nothing has changed in my pet's health condition but I just got notice my rate will be going up an astronomical 20% next month. I get that rates go up every now and then but this is ridiculous. Not impressed.

Great experience with Healthy Paws
Every time I call Healthy Paws, the customer service is helpful, informative and friendly. My dog had to have surgery unexpectedly, and I was so relieved that Healthy Paws made the claim process so easy. Submitting the claims online was easy, I appreciated the email communication about the progress of the processing, and the claim process was completed as expected and very quickly. Could not be happier!

Best. Insurance. Ever.
If you're considering pet insurance, just get Healthy Paws and save yourself hours of research. This is the best insurance I've had in my entire life (of any kind). I had Healthy Paws on my middle-aged dog for ~3 years before submitting a serious claim (more than $100) - A cancer tumor removal surgery with a bill of $1600. Healthy Paws reimbursed me in a FEW DAYS after receiving the claim. No questions asked, got a check for ~$1300 AND they even emailed me to ask how my dog was and hoped he was doing well. That's AMAZING! My human health insurance doesn't care about me anywhere near that much. Since then I've filed multiple smaller claims this year ($50-150) and they've paid every one promptly, no hassle. I'm a customer for life. If you have a pet that goes outside, health insurance is a great investment. For indoor-only pets it's a harder call but I still think it can have big benefits (like not weighing money vs. your animal's life when things go bad).

ASPCA Insurance (Good decision)
I have 13 lb. four legged child named Leilani. She is a true love puppy. She serves as a therapy dog in old folks homes and mental institutions with Canines For Christ. She eats everything. Knowing that I decided to get pet insurance. She got very sick. We thought she ate something that made her sick. After a 1000.00 vet bill we found out that something in her food was making her sick. So the internist put her on special food and probiotics. Thank God ASPCA Insurance paid most of the bill or there might not have been a very good Christmas.

This coverage has been a lifesaver!
Our 5 year old lab mix has had joint problems since she was a puppy. This year, she had both knees done (TPLO surgery). It was around $2800 for each knee. We could not have managed it without this insurance. They paid over $2000 for each one. Now we have our rowdy puppy back.
