Glad to have this coverage!

My poor little puppy of 10 years became extremely ill and we almost lost him! The hospital stay and operation bills were close to $9000.00!! Without this coverage, I don't know what we would've done to pay the bills!

Completely Satisfied

I have two dogs and they have Embrace Pet Insurance since 2010. Any time I have submitted a claim, Embrace is quick to notify me that it has been received and always gives me a time frame until I hear back regarding the claim. It is usually within 2 weeks .They have always been extremely fair and honest. I appreciate the communication during the review process as well as after payment has been sent. My Golden recently had an UTI and possible thyroid issues. There were numerous tests taken and so pleased to see all were covered. It is comforting to know that what they promise when you sign up is what they deliver. I absolutely would recommend them to anyone who has a pet.

Great Company

Figo is a very personal company that makes you feel like family. I would recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance that want all of the perks at one of the lowest prices with no hidden terms that dont allow some medical coverages like some of the other pet insurance companies

Claim portal is insufficient

The portal requests (insists) I register, but I'm already registered so I can't get into portal. I can't get status of my claim.

I don't know what I would do without Healthy paws!

I purchased pet insurance for my german shepherd akira. Akira's stomach flipped. Bloat is the second leading killer of dogs after cancer. Akira's intervention was 6000 dollars and healthy paws was there to help us through this one. The have being so great. I purchased the 90 percent reimbursement and I am so glad I did because I don't know what could have happened if I didn't have healthy paws. Healthy paws is the best decision I could have made for akira's health.

Unsure of ASCPA Insurance at this time

At this time, I am not sure I am happy with ASCPA pet insurance. I currently have to two pets covered under ASCPA pet insurance - I chose a Level 2 plan for each of them. Between the two pets I recently submitted five claims totaling $853.55 to ASCPA. Out of the $853, I will be reimbursed $258 - approximately 30% of the total. One claim of $470 was for my 8 month old kitten who was spayed. For that particular claim, I will be reimbursed only $100 out of the total $470 claim for the spaying. I thought ASCPA [especially being ASCPA] offered a better care plan for my pets - especially thinking that I had a level 2 plan - my mistake. I am not convinced that ASCPA is a good pet insurance plan to choose. I have yet to see anything close to 90% reimbursement. BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THEIR THEORIES ON PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS AND THEIR 180 day CLAIM WITH 'CURED' BEING THE SKEWED AND KEY WORD here. 30% reimbursement just does not seem adequate to me and it seems they are good at denying portions of your claim leading to them paying much less than the up to 90% as advertised. I thought this was a good and safe choice being ASCPA, but that is very questionaable. I have submitted one more claim. I will look at the percentage that I get back. If it is a low percentage again, I may have to reconsider this pet insurance plan. I also suspect that they may have lied to me. I previously submitted a claim that was denied based on a pre-exisiting condition. I thought my pet would be covered because he had not any symptomotology of allergies for 18 months, but again their interpretation of the contract and the word "cured" did not match what I understand or what I was told on the intial call regarding this insurance. Needless to say, they would not cover the claim and that was that.

Great communication!

It's nice to work with a company that truly keeps you up-to-date on what is happening. I even receive emails when my claim has been received and the investigative process has started. Claims are reviewed quickly and the entire procedure is resolved expediently. This is very much appreciated, especially when my dog's health is of primary concern.

Canceled after 3 months

After over 3 months of paying for my two dogs, and jumping through all Embrace's "hoops" - ortho check, turning over files, etc., it became apparent that virtually any condition my 7 and 8 year old dogs had was going to be considered pre-existing. Middle ear infection? Sorry, not covered because he had a yeast infection in ear prior. Visit to vet for panting,(which can be a sign of pain in dogs)? Sorry, not covered because he had been brought in previously for "labored breathing." News Flash: Labored breathing/panting is a SYMPTOM of something else. You suggested I can, however, call my vet and have her "write us a letter, explaining why it's different." Really? I don't have time to investigate and fight you over every claim, nor does my vet. (And this was just to go toward my deductible.) I should have known from your initial threatening email practically accusing me of faking my dog's ortho exam (yes, the one you request of new policy holders) that you were not a company to be trusted. I predict that once word gets around, Embrace won't be around for long. I highly recommend you stay away from this company.
