Great service, no problems whatsoever so far.
Our dog became very ill quite suddenly with several days in the hospital, lab work, ultrasounds and finally exploratory surgery. The attention and coverage provided allowed us to continue through with some very in depth and intensive care and our dog has been home for almost two weeks now doing well. We still don't have all the answers but at least we still have him and the time to try and figure things out. Thanks!

Excellent Customer Service, Speedy Turnaround
Healthy Paws has now assisted in two major claims for TPLO surgery for my dog, Basti. She is a 5 year old pup who has had to have her knees essentially re-constructed; yes, if you have gasped for air in thinking about the small car I could have bought for the price of her surgeries, you are correct. Thanks to Healthy Paws, this burden was not mine alone. I got my pup when I was still finishing school and am still at the beginning of my career; a monthly payment with a low deductible and high payout has been essential to her guaranteed care. We were able to go to one of the best surgeons in the country, twice now. I was able to file my claim with no hassle online/through my mobile app, and track the progress of the claim. Even with the holidays, their turn around was in their 7-10 day promise. I am perpetually impressed with the Customer Service I receive and follow ups regarding my pup's health and my customer experience. I will continue to highly recommend this company to my fellow pet owners!

Trupanion is a smart investment in your pet
We have had a number of claims for our Puggle Remy. All have been addressed and resolved in a very timely manner. The communication via e mails starts right away as they inform you they have received the claim, and typically within a week another email will be sent explaining what is covered and how much you will be reimbursed. I also have had very good experiences when contacting them via phone calls. Never on hold very long and always get a polite and competent "pet lover" to assist me. I feel having a policy with Trupanion was a very wise decision for us.

Trupanion has saved my pets life. He ruptured both cruciates and one week after surgery broke his leg. Trupanion was quick to respond to pre-approvals and also to reimburse. It was a relief to know my best bud was able to have the medical attention he needed, when he needed it, and I didn't have to stress over the finances in split second decisions.

Trupanion is absolutely the best investment any pet owner can make!
I am the "mom" of a 6 year old Australian labradoodle named Paz, who is a registered therapy dog that provides support to children who have witnessed or been victims of violent crimes. Approximately 6 weeks ago, my beloved Paz was diagnosed with lymphoma and my Trupanion coverage has made it possible for Paz to receive comprehensive treatment by arenowned veterinary oncologist at a state of the art facility. Trupanion staff are compassionate, responsive individuals who ensure that all submitted bills are promptly reimbursed; they have never questioned the treatment plan and are supportive of all the oncologist's decisions as demonstrated by their prompt reimbursement. I highly recommend Trupanion to all pet owners seeking insurance for their beloved pets.

Zoey & Scooter
We've had Trupanion (recommended by our long time vet) for our dachshund Zoey for 6 years now. I also added our Westie, Scooter, about 3 years ago. Zoey was a rescue at 1 1/2 years and came with a heart murmur. I have to be honest that I was frustrated for quite some time as everything she saw the vet about seemed to fall into the pre-existing condition category - therefore not covered. I added Scooter to avoid this coverage problem as he was "event free". I was evaluating the worth of continuing the insurance and discussed it's value with our trusted vet. She thought it was still important to continue it. Still on the fence I kept it in place. Three weeks ago Zoey suffered a devastating spinal condition that required emergency surgery in hopes she'd be able to walk again. This surgery has been costly and while she continues to have issues, she is regaining the use of her back legs and is on the road to recovery. The Trupanion coverage has been there to support us. After meeting the deductible I picked ($200) the Trupanion team couldn't have been more prompt in responding to claims, available 24/7 for questions and have been a true God send through this entire experience. I guess it confirms the purpose of having any insurance in general...you hope you'll never need it...but it's comforting to know it's there if you do. I recommended Trupanion to my daughter when their family added a German Shepard puppy as well as a co-worker with a new baby Labrador. I think it's important to get the coverage in place as early as possible to avoid pre-existing conditions. I know this review was lengthy, but I hope it was helpful!!
