Smart Decision
After comparing many pet insurance companies I decided Healthy Paws was the best choice for my new furry baby girl. We had bought a puppy just a few months earlier only to have her die within the first 48 hours. Needless to say we were heartbroken and wanted to do everything possible to ensure our new puppy had all the medical care she needed if needed. Turns out before she was two years old she had to have major hip surgery. I am so glad we chose Healthy Paws. They have been wonderful to work with and very understanding of our needs. Plus they get in touch with you personally to check on her progress. I couldn't be more pleased.

Thankful we had Trupanion!
My husband and I decided to get pet insurance for both of our Yorkshire Terriers, 9 years and 3 years old, about 6 months ago just to have as a back-up, especially with one dog being almost 10 years old. I did extensive searches on pet insurance and wanted to make sure I chose the best plan where breed-specific illnesses and injuries were covered, as well as the best competitive price. I also asked around family and friends to see what insurance they recommended and compared pricing. I chose Trupanion because I felt the coverage was the best for what we wanted to spend; they also had broad coverage no matter what the age of our dogs and were happy to answer all of my questions over the phone before registering. About a month ago, we could not believe it when our oldest Yorkie, Harley, was admitted to the emergency vet hospital a week before his 10th birthday and diagnosed with severe acute necrotizing pancreatitis. Yes, it is as bad as it sounds. He’s an extremely healthy dog and this came out of nowhere. We were able to transfer him from one emergency place to the best one in the area with the best care for such a severe case, including ultra sound, countless antibiotics and pain meds, and plasma treatments. We couldn’t believe that he could potentially be in the hospital overnight for up to a week or more and we knew the vet bills would start to pile up quickly. The first 4 days or so were touch and go for my poor baby and it was the worst week of waiting. However

Fast and painless
Our Dog Callie hurt her knee after jumping off the couch. THe folks at our Vet (Best Friends) took very good care of her and processed our Embrace claim for us. within a couple of weeks I received a confirmation from Embrace that they were reviewing our claim, followed up by a second e-mail confirming that the charges were covered. It even included a very easy to understand EOB for our records. THe check came within a few days after that. It doesn't get much easier than that. Thanks Embrace!

overall good experience
submitted claim by fax. good thing i followed up because they didn't receive it. the customer care person was polite and helpful but i had to insist because she kept saying "not yet" when it had been 8 days after fax sent. finally gave me email and waited on phone with me until she received it. also nice… received follow up email after claim processed to make sure we received check would be nice if we could submit claims online

Always responsive and fair
We've been an Embrace customer for years, and I'm finally getting around to writing a review. Every single claim I've submitted has been handled in a fair and timely manner. I have received the entirety of reimbursements that are due under the terms of the agreement. I wish my personal medical plan were as responsive as Embrace is for our cats. It gives us great peace of mind that we will not have to face a difficult decision - based on finances - if one of our cats becomes seriously ill. We'll be able to do what is best for the cat. I can't speak highly enough about the great service we've received from Embrace.

Quick and easy
I have had this insurance policy for 4 years. I had to submit 2 claims and each time the filing process was easy and the payment was mailed to me in less than 2 weeks. I would recommend ASPCA pet insurance to anyone with a pet.

Excellence!
I am not one to write reviews but in this case I wanted to share my experience.After 2 years of researching pet insurance I decided to go with Healthy Paws not knowing what to expect. Unfortunately, right after the 15 wait period my dog had a pancreatic attack so severe that after 4 months of weekly visits of test, medicines, endoscopy and more test re-run, she was diagnosed with IBD which is the primary cause of her Pancreatitis. I was very hesitant as to how Healthy Paws would handle this and they have been extremely gracious! Not only have they covered everything, no questions asked, they email very caring letters to me. The turn-around for checks is very Quick and their phone support has been excellent! I highly recommend Healthy Paws and I'm very grateful they are the company I chose.

Amazing in every way
Healthy Paws was kind, even when I called, and very very quick. They covered everything and even more than I expected and I can not express how happy I am we have insured our two puppies with themI highly recommend them to anyone, we did the $100 deductible and 90% reimbursement. The check came within a week of closing the claim, and the claim was closed within a couple of days of sending all info in!!!
