So grateful for our excellent coverage

Embrace Pet Insurance is a cut above the rest. That's in part because they pay for the procedure your vet thinks is necessary, and pays the fee your vet charges — they don't have any pre-determined costs or limits on any procedure. They also pay for holistic care and physical therapy as long as it's veterinarian supervised, which is reasonable and even wise of them. Our AmStaff tore her cranial cruciate ligament in October, and we had planned to do TPLO after Thanksgiving, so we could be in town during her recovery. The vet thought that was okay, and Embrace pre-authorized her TPLO, meaning they can pay the vet directly, instead of having us put the $5,000 charge on our credit card. When I called for the pre-authorization, the phone representative recommended we do physical therapy in advance of surgery, just to make sure she stays strong and healthy while waiting for her surgery date. The vet-supervised PT was so much more thorough and professional than the other PT we'd been going to, so I was glad this was a requirement. It has worked out so well, in fact, that all the doctors have come to agree that our dog is healing without TPLO, and may not need surgery at all. Embrace has reimbursed us promptly for each PT appointment, including Adequan shots, hydrotherapy, acupuncture and laser treatments. It's just wonderful coverage, and I'm so glad we signed the dogs up with this coverage. I would highly recommend Embrace to anyone considering pet health insurance.

Great coverage

I've had ASPCA Pet Insurance on my cats for many years. The claims are handled promptly with a good reimbursement rate. Plus I have peace of mind knowing that my cats are protected.

Wow!

My goofy dog, Merlin let out a scary sounding squeal the other night and we quickly decided he seemed to be choking on something. After two vet visits, 24 hours, and an endoscopy under general anesthesia, we came home with a dog on-the-mend and a $2400 vet bill. Was I ever surprised when I submitted my claim with the super-simple scan and upload feature that I had an answer in less than 24 hours with a complete explanation of benefits. Now, less than a week later, I have my check for over $2100 in hand. Not only that, but I got a nice e-mail from the company, checking to make sure that Merlin had recovered--this was clearly written by a person, not a computer! I couldn't be happier with Healthy Paws.

Pet's Best Is Simply The Best

We recently lost our Boston terrier, Mr. Mugs, to a brain tumor. Pet's Best was with us every step of the way, answering questions, doing pre-certs for expensive testing and coming through for us, every time, in the amount we expected. Nothing can bring our little boy back to us, but having the peace of mind they gave us when a pet is sick, was priceless. I will use Pet's Best in the future and recommend it to everyone.

Out of the norm disease diagnoses for out breed

I decided to get pet insurance for out new pup as he was a rescue and we were unsure of his past and any past health issues. I was glad we did for peace of mind but it turned out we needed it when our dog was having chronic diahrreah for just over a month. We were seeing the vet at least once a week if not more to run different tests and what not. The vet was finally able to diagnose our pup with Endocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, which pretty much means our dog wasn't absorbing any of the food we fed him and he was losing a lot of weight. His diagnoses means a lifelong enzyme suppliment that he needs to take daily. Because we decided to get insurance they have helped with the costs of all the associated testing in order to get a diagnoses as well as cover his medications and even some of his specialty foods that were needed in the first few months of treatments. Not all diseases can be expected within a breed and our case runs very true for us. Our pup is a large breed mix which is most likely a wolfhound/Airedale mix but his disease is typically only seen in German shepards. But who knows, he's a rescue and we can't be certain of his mix. Great investment

The best pet insurance company, great staff !!!

I highly recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance to everyone that I know and meet that has pets. The staff is understanding, professional and personal in the way that they handle everything that you may need to talk to them about. I always get a courteous person on the phone whenever I have called them. I really appreciate how prompt they are to pay for the claims that I've submitted, and I mean quick. I've received refund checks within 2 weeks of submitting them via FAX. You are picking the BEST Pet Insurance in selecting ASPCA !!!

Good service

It took a while to get the vet to get all the information to the insurance company, but once they did, claim was handled promptly.
