Lesson learned
My two year old poodle mix has been insured by Embrace since she adopted me when she was 5 months old. We have had several claims for gastritis, including one surgery. We were' doing fine until I let a friend with a dog the same age watch her. I usually use an in home professional, but decided to make an exception. After specifically writing out instructions, and providing appropriately portioned prescription dog food, my friend let my dog share some of her pet food. Needless to say we had yet another claim for gastritis. Embrace never questioned where or why. Love the peace of mind knowing I am working with such a great company.

Great service, helpful, and easy to process claims
We have been extremely pleased with Healthy Paws! It's simple to submit a claim and payment is processed quickly. The plan is simple and everyone we've worked with has been very helpful. Our dog recently had surgery and they even sent an email to check in and see how she was doing. I thought it was a great touch! It may not be the cheapest plan out there, but the service, ease of use, and coverage has been excellent. I would absolutely recommend Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws is excellent insurance; a must have!
I've never purchased pet insurance before, but after $10K+ in vet bills for my cat, I changed my tune. My sister researched insurance, and suggested Healthy Paws as the best out there. And they are! The policy is clearly written, so you know what is covered and what is not. And if you get confused, as I sometimes do, the Healthy Paws team is quick and responsive; answering questions and providing clear explanations. The coverage is great; after deductible and not-covered exam fees, my policy covers 90%, no fuss. Claims are handled with exceptional speed! Our 5-year old pup DJ recently had a significant laceration on her hind leg. Luckily, it looked worse than it turned out to be, but it has been a tough couple of weeks. I can say that during the 30 minutes or so of panic, and several hours in emergency services, we never once worried about the bill, because of Healthy Paws insurance. This morning I received a un-looked for a very sweet follow-up email from Healthy Paws. I see from other reviews it is a standard practice, which I think is wonderful, and shows great customer service! They'd already mailed the reimbursement check within a few days of the claim being filed, but were just checking up to see how DJ was doing. I'm very appreciative of the responsiveness, and genuine caring attitude of Healthy Paws! It is my pleasure to rate them highly here, and encourage all pet owners out there to check out their great website and create a coverage plan for your pet. You will be glad you did!

Trupanion initial claim review
We have used this twice. Although the monthly premium is a bit high the 90% reimbursement is much better than other insurance we have used. The only offset on the score is the higher deductible vs. the payment.

Thanks for excellent coverage and timely payment
Our Pug, Jimmy, had a very serious illness involving urinary incontinence which ultimately required a scrotal urethrostomy. Embrace was super in swift payment of claims for which we were very grateful. This was not a cheap illness which we could not afford were it not for Jimmy's Embrace coverage. Thank you Embrace.

Great Insurance!!
If you are ever wondering if pet insurance is worth it, I highly recommend it! I purchased this insurance for my mixed breed shep/rott dog and it has paid for itself 10x over already. The claim submittal process is the easiest I've ever had and the reimbursement was so quick. I am amazed and cannot say enough good things about this company.

Highly recommended!
Put simply, Embrace has been extremely helpful, speedily reimbursing every claim I've filed. I wish human insurance could be equally as responsive. If you're looking for some peace of mind choose Embrace!

ER For Tobin
I recently had to take my dog Tobin to the ER. I had a bag of dog food in the kitchen, and while I was gone, he decided to open the bag and eat... and eat... Distended belly and oh so painful - off we went to the ER. It was comforting knowing I had the insurance, and although money wouldn't have been an object, it was great not having that as an issue at all. Quick turn around from claim (although I used most of it as a deduction) but still very quick.

Absolutely the best
I searched around a lot to find the best insurance when I got my puppy. Sure, there are a ton of cheaper options but I couldn't be happier I went with healthy paws. My dog was a totally normal puppy but he ended having seizures around when he turned 1. He also needed major surgery on his paw. Healthy paws is the best. There's no cap so they literally have reimbursed me thousands of dollars. My dogs surgery was $4500 and they reimbursed me $3400 (I have an 80% rate). They also reimburse me for his seizure medication that I buy monthly. Not only do they reimburse you, but they do it quick! There's never any ifs/buts when I submit a claim either, they pay you exactly what they told you is covered. I couldn't imagine not being insured through them.
