GREAT EXPERIENCE
Finley is just a little over a year old. We have had multiple claims to Embrace since we got her... sprained foot, stomach issues, allergy to food, and an eye infection. I cannot say enough about Embrace.. their customer service every time I called, their follow up and timely claim process. Only thing that would really help is to be able to email a claim in. But, that is the only suggestion I would have. They have been just amazing to deal with.

Embrace has paid claim as promised.
My dog was diagnosed with cancer. We went to the OSU Vet. School for diagnositics and a treatment plan. The total estimated amount of Treatment would exceed $5000. I submitted a Preauthorization claim to Embrace. It took about 2-3 weeks, but they approved the Treatment. If I decide to proceed with Treatment, I am assured Embrace will cover the claim. I appreciate knowing The amount of reimbursement. I use to have VPI, they never would preauthorize, so I never knew what amount of reimbursement I would get. I am happy I changed to Embrace.

Absolutely the best!
Simply put, I can't put into words my appreciation for Healthy Paws. My little girl "Bootsy" went through a pretty rough few weeks where I thought I actually might lose her. Not only did Healthy Paws handle the claim quickly, but they followed up with a letter checking up on how she was doing. Although that may seem like a little thing, the gesture meant a lot, especially while I was racked with worry during her recovery. Service and professionalism to the highest standard. I wish my personal health insurance was this good!

Great Experience
This is my second year with Embrace. First year just ha wellness claims for my boxer puppy and they paid promptly. Well worth the money. This year (2nd year with the insurance) had numerous claims due to puppy's allergies. Embrace handled the claims promptly and was great. Really helped out with the expense. The communication via email was great and their website made checking on status very easy.

My dog became suddenly sick, vomiting, with anorexia and hemorrhage. I took her to the Clinic and vets recommended to take her to the Pet Hospital for IV and antibiotic. During that time in the hospital, Trupanion discussed the charges with the hospital and quickly approved treatment. The refund of expenses from the clinic was received within a couple of weeks of treatment. Superb service!

Ups and Downs. Mostly Ups.
As far as working with insurance companies are, it's pretty good. There was a little hitch early on with a claim that eventually became a continuing care type event which was a little stressful which our vet had to get proactive in, but after it got settled they've been quite good about accepting the claims for the medicine our girl is on for life. The thing about insurance is that you're betting against your pets. If you're lucky, you won't need to file a claim. But if there is a problem with your pet, it's a nice safety net to make sure you can continue giving your pets the care they need.

It was awesome that your main concern was for your pet instead of being concerned about how much it was going to cost. The vet handled all the paperwork and submitted the claim and a week later the reimbursement cheque was in the mail.
