No complaints on first claim
My flat-coated retriever had an episode of vomiting, infection of his prostate and bladder that require a visit to the ER as well as a followup with my regular vet. My claim was paid promptly and was what I expected. VPI made it easy.

Great! Totally Worth It! Highly Recommended
I have been using Healthy Paws for close to 1 year now and I think that they are awesome. As long as you meet your deductible and submit invoices correctly, etc. you will be reimbursed in an extremely timely manner. I am covered at 90% and have had a great experience with this company. The office visit fees and preventative medications like tick, flea, heartworm are not covered, but HP has covered everything else. My dog also had to have a major surgery while we had the insurance for less than a year and HP did cover 90% of the surgery. I HIGHLY recommend this insurance. It will save you a lot of money and headaches in the long run.

Very happy with our VPI policies
We have the highest coverage plans for both of our dogs and every year they have paid for themselves in coverage we have received. From a couple emergencies to an ACL surgery and dental care, we get the full use from our plans and are very happy with them.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
I live in Manhattan and have 2 French Bulldogs. One of which has chronic bronchitis, as well as thyroid issues. Every time I submit a claim to VPI I am very disappointed. I never know if I am going to get 10% back or 80% back, but the majority of the time it is below 50%. Since my other dog had no pre-existing conditions, I moved over to Healthy Paws, and I couldn't be happier with them.

Another great experience with Pets Best
My Holly has had a rough year. She got into some poison, she developed incontinence and now diagnosis with serious osteoarthritis. Pets Best has made it so easy to process the claims for these problems and my reimbursement has been deposited in my bank account within 3-4 days. Thank you Pets Best. You are the best!

submitted claim(s) for 4 dates of service on 2/4 and received claim updates almost daily with payment confirmation by 2/12. Although they missed one claim date in all the paperwork. They even covered prescription food for the first 2 months!

Supportive and Fast
My cat had to have surgery after eating a jacket string. The cost of the surgery was over $4,000. Healthy paws walked me through my first claim. It was easy to do and fast.
