Healthy Paws has been great!
I insured my two dogs Haley and Cinder with Healthy Paws Insurance this past year. My dog Haley had to undergo rotator cuff surgery, which is very expensive. Healthy Paws covered 90% of her surgery. They processed my claim in just a few days and I received the reimbursement with in a week. They even sent an email to check on Haley after her surgery. I would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for pet insurance.

Best thing we've ever done for our pets !
We've experienced the need for many claims here lately and without Embrace insurance I know we would be financially strapped by now. At a minimum I think everyone should get accident and illness coverage for thier animals. Thank you for the fast claim turnaround.

HIGHLY Recommend Trupanion!
Trupanion has been so wonderful to have for my three young cats. One of them had dental issues recently and needed 8 teeth pulled. They reduced my $1,600 bill to just $300. No questions, no arguments, the vet just submits the bills and I get a refund check within a couple of weeks. Such a relief. Thank you for being so easy to deal with!

don't waste your money!!
VPI has sucked $40 out of me a month for the past 4 years. They cover basically nothing, and if they do, it's after a $50 deductible leaving you with zilch. Recently they had the nerve to send me a reimbursement check for $.04!! You're better off putting money aside each month. If I realized they were a Nationwide Company I would have never used them in the first place.

Excellent Service
We initially took out pet insurance on our current dogs because our previous dog (a schnauzer with no insurance) had cost us a fortune in vet bills over the course of her lifetime and we didn't feel we could afford that again. Like most pet owners, our pets are members of our family and we would hate to deny them medical attention because of cost. Recently, one of our dogs has suffered from bouts of pancreatitis where she has had to be hospitalized and put on IV fluids for a couple of days at a stretch. As anyone with a pet knows, this is expensive! We submitted our claims to Trupanion and really, this could not have been looked after any better. The claims were processed right away and we had our reimbursement (90% coverage) within a few days. Their service has been exemplary and we would highly recommend them.

Terrible! Worst experience imaginable
We purchased the "surperior" plan for our 2 year old lab who passed away at 14 about 3 months ago. In her life she had her spleen removed, bloat, and twice fought cancer. When we filed claims with VPI they consistently were refused, or paid (for example) $500 on a $5000 claim. This insurance barely paid what we paid on a monthly basis, and was very expensive (we were paying $83 per month at one point). I understand they changed their plans, but they have competition now, don't they. They consistently found reasons to ask for more information and records which is a hassle. Fortunately we could afford the best for our dog regardless of this lousy sham of insurance...but not so for everyone, which is why is such a travesty.
