Embrace is horrible

My dog had a limp from stepping on a piece of ice one day, he literally limped for one day. We took him to the vet for brain seizures and the vet asked if there was anything else. We said yes, he started limping yesterday after he stepped on a piece of ice. The limp was in no way related to the vet visit. He stopped limping the very next day. 11 months later he tore his ACL on the other leg. Embrace denied the claim saying because he limped for 1 day it was a pre-existing condition. And they told us for the appeal, we just needed a letter from the vet who saw him and noted the limp, saying that his slight limp that day was in no way related to his torn ACL on his other leg. The vet wrote this letters aging it was not related and did not cause his ACL injury. Embrace de lined it again. This company is horrible, absolutely worthless. When I asked what type of evidence the would have needed showing the two were not related since a statement from the Vet wasn't enough, they refused to give me an answer. Stay away from them, go with VPI or any other company. There is a reason Embrace is cheaper, it's because their service is horrible.

Great Program PRICES INSANE INCREASE

I have had no issues with Pets Best at all other than the fact that the insurance rate for one of my pets literally went up $30 a MONTH!!!! I am playing close to $90 a month now for a senior dog. The claims process is easy and they do all the work for you. I have had few issues with them over the past 3 years. My sole complaint would be the HUGE increase in prices over the last few months.

Only Good Experiences So Far

I signed up for Embrace when I got my dog 6 months ago because research gave me a good impression of the company. They have been so great helping me care for my dog. I think it's already been worth the investment already.

Quick claim processing and great coverage

Our one-year-old Golden Retriever puppy seems to have seasonal allergy issues. This spring, he's had ear infections, dermatitis, eye infections and always seems itchy. After treating each "illness" (which applied to our deductible), the vet recommended allergy testing. I was not optimistic that this would be covered so I contacted Embrace and was informed it was! Our pup had a full allergy screening and we only owed our co-pay out of the $450 cost! So happy we could do this for him without worrying about the expense! And the best part is the reimbursement was received within a couple days. So fast!

Depend on Pets Best!

My little girl schipperke developed rather serious aspiration pneumonia after a dental procedure, plus she had previously swallowed a rock, unbeknowst to me. Over the course of a week, she was treated by her vet, the emergency vet, and the specialists and was in the emergency clinic over two nights as the bills mounted. Fortunately, even though it took a little time to get all the information together to get paid, Pets Best came through for us. They were easy to work with and we were paid without any hassle.

Pet Insurance when you need it

We have two pups covered by ASPCA. One is 14+ and the other 7+. They are on different plan levels and each seems to work. There have been fairly long periods when I haven't put in a claim--even when I could have--because the amounts were small and I'm terrible about paperwork. ASPCA has actually had staff call us to remind us of what we can claim! This past year we've had more claims than usual and the response has been good. My older pup now has cancer and some big bills are about to go in. So I will be waiting to see how they are handled. But to date, we've been quite satisfied. I'll come back with a "10" if the reimbursements are fair.

So happy we chose Healthy Paws!

Our 6 month old Boykins Spaniel was diagnosed with Medial Patella Luxation. It is a hereditary disease and I discovered it while walking behind him noticing his leg giving way occasionally. His vet found the problem and we have had two surgeries so far. Healthy Paws has been behind us all the way. So thankful not to have financial stress on top of all the other stress on our puppy and family. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

so glad I got Embrace pet insurance

I never was sure this would provide a good value, but in January of this year, I signed 3 of my pets up for insurance. Shortly thereafter, my 9 year old Weimar was diagnosed with a chest tumor and has required several procedures to drain fluid from the sac around his heart. After reviewing the vets' notes, Embrace covered his expenses, and quickly. It's so easy to upload claims, and payment is prompt. I am very pleased!

Great service, good price

We recently filed two claims with Embrace for our 3yr old dog. The monthly rate is very reasonable, and the level of staff responsiveness is extremely high. We're very impressed with Embrace's representatives, particularly in terms of their level of engagement with us, their communication skills, and their understanding of the process.

Prompt and Courteous

Every time I have filed a claim, it has been dealt with promptly and professionally. A representative called to find out how my dogs were doing after their surgery, and to let me know my claim had been processed. I highly recommend ASPCA pet insurance to anyone needing this kind of service.
