Great Experience

Have had Pets Best insurance for 9 years for 2 dogs and never had to use it until now. Having insurance helped ease my mind when we had to go to emergency vet and they started doing many tests. So easy to file claims and receive payment. Very happy with this company.

Great customer service but slow

I am very satisfied with their customer service. Our first claim was paid in full. I trust them but it took much longer than the previous insurance company. I hope they have customer log in service so that we can track our claim process.

Simply the best

I originally took this policy out to cover any emergencies that might occur. My dog was diagnosed with allergies and is required to take daily medication in addition to twice yearly blood work. I'm reimbursed up to $600 per year. This was a great help to us. Claims are processed quickly and customer service is very helpful and friendly when you call them. I wish my own insurance was this efficient

Very poor customer service! Look elsewhere

We have been insured for years by trupanion (5+). We rarely have exceeded the yearly deductible. I recently tried to contact an agent to change my plan. I emailed and called to leave a message. I received no response. Today I was informed my policy does not cover rehab. We are trying to avoid invasive surgery. I escaleted to a manager when our claim was rejected. The manager politely explained that there was nothing she could do about this rehab but would sell me a rider to cover any future conditions that are non existing. Great insurance and business like manner. However, there was no effort to help us with this claim. No goodwill effort in consideration of the thousands we have paid in premiums. She explained that the contract is very clear and written at a fourth grade level. no need for them to explain the need of additional riders or any exclusions as i signed up on the web. No need for them to call and follow up to see if we had concerns or questions at any time in the past number of years. Too bad that i tried to contact them and that they never responded. So now i am searching for another company. I will contact vets in my area and any animal associations as well as social media. I will suggest people not use trupanion. I will use social media and i will write reviews. I will also see if there is any legal remedy. I may be one dissatisfied customer but i am sure there are others equally frustrated.

Wow, best customer service

Healthy Paws saved me from having to make a difficult decision on my pet, Dominic. He has arthritis in his right rear hip so he needed x-rays for that and then medicine that cost $90 per month, when I sent in the invoices, via on-line, they paid, no questions asked with a week. Recently he seemed to be getting worse and was always falling down and couldn't walk on his front right. We had to go to a neuro specialist and he diagnosed a herniated disc in his neck, which required major surgery. It would have cost me $5,700, but with the insurance reimbursement I paid 1030. Healthy Paws was and is always very sympathetic to me when I call about my boy. They treat me like family and totally understand about people wanting to take care of their pets, who call upset and worried. They don't ask questions, this last big bill was process and checks received with a week. Now that's customer service. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws insurance anyone with a beloved pet. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

Embrace is Amazing

I can't say enough about this terrific company. We got our dear little dog Lucy at 10 weeks old. At about 10 months, strange bluish images appeared on her corneas. Turns out her eyelids turned inwards causing the eyelashes to continually scratch the corneas. The blue images were scars. If we did not have her eyelids surgically corrected she would become blind. Embrace covered the surgery! Two years later Lucy developed an ulcer on one eye, requiring another expensive visit to the veterinary ophthalmologist. Embrace came through again. I am so grateful. It is a relief to be covered by Embrace. I recommend them absolutely.

Extremely attentive

I have been incredibly happy with Embrace for my pup's insurance plan. They are highly responsive, their paperwork has been easy to fill out for myself and the vet, and they are very fair and reasonable from a cost perspective! The care for my pup has been an added bonus. They checked in several times as my furry love had the puppy flu and even mentioned for me to give her a hug for them. Wish our healthcare system worked the same way for humans!Thanks for all that you do, Embrace staff!

TruPanion never disappoints!

TruPanion is the most reasonable insurance company I've ever dealt with. First of all, the customer service reps are FRIENDLY and KIND. Unlike auto insurance or health insurance cs reps who can be downright rude. TruPanion is fast and organized! They get your claim and immediately keep you updated on the claims process via email. I don't have to spend hours on the phone trying get through telepromts to find out the status of my claim! The underwriting is done so well because I've never been declined. They lost the conditions and situations very clearly and when they pay up, they pay a large percentage of your vet bill (almost all of it, depending). The best experience I had was when my 11 year old Maltese went into cardiac arrest and I called to see if they would cover my emergency procedures. TruPanion PRE-APPROVED me for $5,000 even though the estimated bill at the time was half of that. They were extremely kind and compassionate during this difficult time.
