I, too, was skeptical with pet insurance. Our dog is like our child, so I wanted to get a plan, but I was nervous that an insurance plan would deny all of our claims and end up wasting time and money. I'm extremely satisfied with Embrace and have already received $150+ in the mail from them following our vet visits. Here's our story: We purchased our plan in July of 2016. It was a "3rd birthday gift" to my dog Oliver. Strangely, we had two incidents almost immediately after we completed the initial paperwork. Oliver came down with a bad case of dermatitis, and then shortly after he had a lick granuloma (infection due to licking). I was worried that both of these would be denied, especially since they occurred right after we finished the paperwork and received our policy plan. We hit our deductible after the second vet visit, and everything else from there on was reimbursed via checks in the mail, including Oliver's meds. We've already received back more than $150 in vet appointment reimbursements from Embrace, and I'm more thankful than ever that we went ahead and purchased the plan when we did. I couldn't be happier or more confident in this insurance company as a result. The claim process was super easy. I used my phone to take a photo of our vet bill, sent it to the Embrace claim email, and everything was tracked on the website. We received claim approval and checks within a week or two of the claim. Customer service is friendly and the website portal is super easy and transparent. Note: The initial process of receiving the policy takes some time. You need to get an exam for your pet via your veterinarian, which will not be covered by the policy itself. That takes time and effort, however once you're set up, the policy and the coverage is phenomenal. I've already recommended this company to my parents, and would highly encourage you to check them out, as well. I couldn't be happier.

Responsive and Worth the Investment
I've secured pet insurance with Embrace for 3 years and am very happy with the coverage they provide. The claims are processed quickly and if you call customer service they are happy to assist and prompt to address any questions or further inquiries. Highly recommend to anyone that has an accident or illness prone dog. We live in an urban area where there are lots of dogs around and take our dog out hiking, running, etc. so we never know what could/might happen. It's reassuring knowing that we have this insurance coverage.

My Pomeranian has had health insurance through HP for 6 or 7 years now and I've never really used the insurance much, but always kept it just in case something bad happens. Well, my little Pom, Hermes, wasn't really eating or drinking for 10 plus days and the bill was $1,151.07 which is not something I can readily afford. Thanks to HP they reimbursed $920.86! The review and reimbursement were very quick and I've since had 2 other claims that have been processed in record time. HP is the best in my opinion and I've always had great experiences with them!

We took out Embrace Pet Insurance when the girls were first adopted back nearly 4 years ago. The first 2 1/2 yrs we had very few claims to put in. However, over the past 18mo our girls have had a series of mostly minor health issues and one fairly major concern. The major concern required many costly tests to find out that for now there is not much we can do. However, Embrace paid what they were supposed to and this helped with what could have amounted to over $1200 worth of bills. I would HIGHLY recommend these folks if you are wanting to insure your pets healthcare.

Incredible seamless service!
As new pet parents, Healthy Paws has been absolutely fantastic and seamless in helping us when our 2.5 year rescued dog fell sick and had to be hospitalized in ICU for 4 days. We were worried sick and at least did not have to worry about the financial drain, THANKS to Healthy Paws. We will be lifelong customers!

Healthy Paws is a good company
About 3 months ago my puppy had an emergency that required multiple ultrasounds, X-rays,endoscopes, and multiple trips to the Emergency vet. This was my first experience using pet insurance so I was nervous but Healthy Paws made it easy. Claim filing is simple, response time is quick, they reimbursed us for everything the said they would and they even sent an email checking to see if my dog was ok after. Highly recommend them.

Great customer service and easy to use!
This is my first time with pet insurance and I was a bit leary thinking it would be a nightmare submitting claims. However it is really easy to use (my vet submits on my behalf) and then I get a receipt in the mail with an explanation of the service and coverage, followed by a refund when the deductible is met. Once the deductible is met, all subsequent visits/medications for that issue will be taken care of. So pleased with their customer service when I have called with questions, and the service in general is worth the monthly fee. Thank you TruPanion!!
