Very Pleased With ASPCA!!!
We previously had a different pet insurance carrier, and, switched to ASPCA. We have a Golden Retriever, Jake, who will be 7 in September. We've had to submit claims for Jake, and, each issue has been handled quickly and professionally by ASPCA. We're very pleased with their business acumen, and, have already recommended them to others.

Great response to multiple claims
We recently had a backlog of claims for two dogs submitted by our vet hospital. Despite the volume of info to process, the Embrace staff did their usual great job of both giving us a status and settling the claims. After the claims have been settled, we get an email from Laura Bennett to follow up. I find this to be a good double check. We have had Embrace insurance for several years covering four Great Danes, and some of their health issues have been costly. One of the dogs has had two MRIs. Embrace has always covered the appropriate amount with no issues or hesitation.

My Dog Buckley
ASPCA is wonderful. The first thing they want to know when they call is how you pet is doing. Eating ok? feeling back to normal? These are caring people. Each member of their staff how much your pet means to you. In addition, they pay their claims timely.

Expensive, lack of info on claims
I have received conflicting information on filing a claim. Everytime I call there is a different story. Rates have skyrocketed in 4 years. This is my first experience with pet insurance but after this dog dies I don't know if it was worth it - at least time it doesn't appear to be the case. I have a couple thousand dollars that will not be covered. When I have paid around $32/mo for over 4 years (rounded), that is $1,600, meaning my cost for this policy is almost $4,000.

Shipment of Insulin - Requires Refrigeration
My dog has diabetes. My vet does not carry Vetsulin anymore. It has to be ordered. I found it cheaper at Valley Vet. The total price plus REFRIGERATED shipping is still cheaper than their charge. Embrace will not reimburse for shipping. This is not regular medicine. It can NOT go regular mail. I am NOT paying for express mail. I understand it's shipping but it's due to the medication. I will now order at higher price from the vet. I was trying to save money but Embrace will not allow. Furthermore, I understand rules but this should be an except since insulin can not be shipped any other way.

It works
We have been using this insurance for about 5 years now, and are generally satisfied.Submitting the claims is really easy, and it's trackable online. The "allowed amount" for each test was lower than our vet was charging, which was pretty irritating, but not by much.

So glad we have pet insurance
Visits are always expensive to the Vets. I never thought my little dog would have to have surgery or pills or special food. ASPCA has always honored our claims in a timely manner.

It's Easy To See How Embrace Got Their Name
Our little Bella has had such a challenging journey in her young life. She's only four but has been through so much. We've spent many nights praying for her recovery and hoping she makes it through the night and her pain of surgeries, recurring pancreatitis and seizures be minimized. Whereas our darling's ultimate care is with a much higher authority, there is no doubt that she is receiving the best care available to her on this earth. We could not have done this without Embrace. Without fail, this company has responded quickly, efficiently, and so kindly to the financial needs necessary to give the best quality of life possible to Bella these past years. She is doing very well now and with the very inexpensive plan we have her on, we can maintain her seizures, thyroid, and allergy challenges with medication and confidence in receiving the very best of care. Although, understandably there is a max on benefits (better than most insurance companies based on our research), despite the many times we've had to go to the vet, we've never reached the max and Embrace has made the entire experience(s) hassle free. We feel Embrace is an extension of the love we have for Bella. Part of our family, really. I'm pondering on the rating this review is asking for and wish there was one to reflect the rating of "priceless" as that is what Bella's quality of life means to us and Embrace has delivered that beyond any limited digital rating. Thank you, Embrace. From our hearts - we couldn't have done this without you and are looking for many more years of this type of security to come.

What the policy really coceres-Nothing
Have had embrace coverage for years. When I got a new puppy that was rescued they tried to make everything pre-exsisting even though he is only 12 weeks old. Accident and illness doesn't really cover anything because they try to make everything pre-exsisting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EMBRACE PET INSURANCE TO ANYONE.
