Trupanion is a straight forward company
I highly recommend Trupanion to everyone I know with pets. Our cat required a major surgery last year, and Trupanion adhered to the policy and paid promptly. I am very impressed with this company.

There the best!
I love them there amazing literally if it wasn't for them I wouldn't even have my dog right now. My dog was only 9 weeks old and sick with a congenital disease in the hospital for two weeks hospitalized the bill was 65,000 dollars I was on there 30 day free trail and they covered 57,000 dollars and I didn't even pay them anything but they were there for her with no problem.

Hands down the best
I'm a veterinarian and have experience with many pet insurance companies, both for my own pets and for the pets of my clients. On a personal note, our beloved 3 year old dog contracted a serious infection, was hospitalized for 10 days, and tragically died of a blood clot to the brain when all other systems were on the mend. During this terrible time, it was comforting to know that we could make important care decisions without concerns about cost. Trupanion reimbursed us quickly for 90% of everything less the one time deductible and the small administrative fees. During a time of stress and ultimately grief, Trupanion came through. We experienced, and I hear from my clients, that Trupanion lacks the bureaucracy of other plans. The plan options are uncomplicated compared to others, and I take great comfort in knowing that the Plan's underwriter is owned by Trupanion. My last pet plan switched its underwriter, and suddenly our costs increased and we had a plan with less desirable coverage. I recommend Trupanion to my clients without reservation.

Excellent Pet Insurance!
Sometimes I'm not sure whether I should send in a claim because I don't take out Wellness Insurance but I did on a tooth extraction while they were doing a cleaning and they paid for a portion of the bill. So if I don 't about a claim if it's covered, I send it in anyways, they will figure it out as they are the experts. I've never had any complaints.

Excellent coverage
Trupanion has excellent coverage and a fast turn around for summited claims. We are not sure where we would be without having pet insurance and would highly recommended to anyone when getting a pet to buy insurance as well.

Trupanion allows me to be the best fur mom I can be!
Trupanion is more than just insurance and a way to pay for our dogs medical expenses. Trupanion allows us to provide them with timely care, in the way that they deserve and they are obvious about that purpose. Recently our dog Stella has become terminally ill all of a sudden and had to be rushed to emergency requiring thousands of dollars of interventions right away. Trupanions coverage allowed us to have all of that started and took the financial burden away. Because of our existing coverage Stella's treatment started immediately and was not delayed by us having to provide a percentage of payment up front. She is home with us now and our little miracle and we truly believe it's because of how quickly we were able to get her treated. We went through a very expensive emergency surgery ordeal with our other dog 4 years ago without insurance and it was life altering for us financially, because we will always do what we have to for our dogs. Trupanion allows us to focus on getting our Stella treated and better and takes away the very real anxiety of "how will we pay for it". Trupanion has been great from the beginning. From the ease of use of signing up, constant communication to ease of submitting claims (most of the from the vet directly) to almost instant pre-approvals and constant email communication. Even with the premiums increasing from constant use lately, it is still beyond worth it. It's a peace of mind money just can't buy (though I guess kind of does:) They are up front and transparent about what's covered and what's not and how. Truly no catch. Truly worth it.
