Very happy after two years and several claims!
We first took Embrace insurance on a free trial basis and during that time had a serious problem with one of our two small dogs. Thank God for Embrace! They took care of a large bill with no questions asked. Here we are with over two years experience with Embrace and we wouldn't be without our pet insurance. We have had nothing but positive experiences with Embrace and can highly recommend them.

Disappointed
I had a very bad experience with Embrace Pet Insurance. I purchased insurance in May 2016 and had my first incident in December of 2016 when I had my dog at the vet for vomiting and diarrhea. My claim was denied because they felt he had a preexisting condition that was possibly chronic because he had been to the vet 6 months earlier with the same core symptoms. They didn’t identify it as a preexisting condition until after I filed the claim and they reviewed his records. I understand preexisting conditions and I may be to blame for not reading my policy completely. I do think, however, that it is a questionable business practice to allow you to continue to pay premiums when you aren’t sure what is covered and what isn’t. I also find it difficult to understand how it can be considered chronic when it happened 6 months apart. In the first case, there was no confirmed diagnosis. In the second case, they gave it a general diagnosis of gastroenteritis. It ultimately was my responsibility with the help of my vet to prove it wasn’t the same thing. Embrace’s underwriting team took the easy route of assuming it was the same thing and wouldn’t pay the claim. I am a first-time puppy owner and assume stomach issues are relatively common in puppies. Especially those that are into everything and choose to put most of it in their mouth. Making a blanket preexisting condition like this, prevents them from having to pay for most of the things I would take him to the vet to treat. I suppose there are worse things that could happen, but expecting coverage and being left with nothing is a bad feeling. If you are considering this plan, read everythign carefully and have them review your coverage after any trip to the vet.

Highly Recommend Embrace
Coverage has been sufficient and easy to manage. Have not been given any problems yet on claims and they've been paid quickly. I feel the price is reasonable and the customer service I receive when I call or email is great.

Splendid service!
We heartily recommend ASPCA Insurance for the care of a pet.Their staff immediately acknowledges the receipt of our claims, and soon after the appropriate amount of funds appeared in our checking account. We are impressed that in phone and email correspondence that the staff asks about our beloved dog Hildy by name. It shows that they take extra care in handling each case.

Thank goodness for Healthy Paws
It was the day before Christmas, and Bowser was romping in the backyard as usual, when suddenly he seized up in pain. After 2 doctors visits an x-ray and an MRI, it was determined he herniated a disc in his neck, and it was pinching on his spine. He was admitted for an $8,000 surgery. Having Healthy Paws insurance kept financial stress from entering into an already stressful and scary few days. I am so grateful I could trust them to help us take care of Bowser.

I LOVE Embrace!!!
I have been a loyal Embrace customer for many years. I have used their insurance numerous times in the past and have never been disappointed! I currently have 4 large dogs, so I have to keep a high deductible and copay to afford covering them all for emergency issues. My Dane Maya just blew out her knee and had TPLO surgery. As they have consistently done in the past, Embrace has covered everything, minus my deductible and co-pay. They are a great company and I am a customer for life!

Transparent, fair and excellent Pet Insurance.
My Sparky an 11 year old Maltese has had Embrace Insurance for the past 2 years. He has been covered for everything that was not a pre existing condition in an extremely timely manner. He had a heart murmur and high liver enzyme before I got Embrace. I was explained in a very courteous manner why these illnesses were not covered. He has developed cataracts after I got Embrace, these claims have been covered immediately. I am very satisfied for Embrace 's great service. Sparky and I thank you, Ana (Sparky's mom)
