A must for alk pet parents!

Trupanion is amazing! They have really helped keep my furry-faced children in good care and have never questioned a submission. I never have to worry about the cost of a procedure or test. They allowed me an extra summer with my special little guy (he needed special food, regular visits, and medication) and I will always be grateful.

I highly recommend ASPCA Pet Health Ins

We've had ASPCA Pet Health for 10+ years. We've also tried some other pet health insurances when we've adopted new family members but we've always switched them over to ASPCA. It's easy to use, easy to know what you can get reimbursed, and they quickly process your claims.

Reliable and Fair

I have just resigned with ASPCA Pet Health Insurance for our new dog, Biscuit, This was based on having coverage with other animals in the past, mostly cats. When we needed coverage for our most recent cat, who we spent about $6,000 trying to save, ASPCA was there for us and settled our claims very fairly and very quickly. It frankly was a "no brainer" for us to put our new dog under their coverage.

Excellent and quick coverage benefit payout

In today's fast paced world - Embrace makes it insanely easy not only to submit claims on their customer portal, but also in their prompt response to emailed questions. We submitted several claims that had occurred over the past 6 months. Embrace accepted the claims for review and quickly processed. Coverage was applied as expected and refund checks were issued promptly. Insurance is never something you want to use - but Embrace made it easy.

Caps on annual or long-term illnesses far too low

I have two dogs, one that was insured with ASPCA, and another with Pets Best. The costs are the same, but the coverage is very different. Both of my dogs have long-term care illnesses (Addison's disease, and Irritable Bowel Disease). ASPCA has a lifetime cap of $2500 for continuing care. That amount only lasted three years, and now all expenses are out of pocket. Pets Best has no lifetime cap on continuing care, which is a relief for a dog that has an illness that will last his entire life. There are far better insurance plans for your pets than ASPCA, which was a surprise to me because of all providers, I would expect better coverage from a charity that prides itself on care for animals. Unfortunately, because my dog insured with ASPCA now has a chronic illness, I cannot change policies because she has a pre-existing condition.
