Pets Plus Us pet insurnace
I have been breeding great danes for nearly 20 years. Because I am a registered breeder I have the opportunity to send my puppies to their new homes with 6 weeks of free insurance. It gives me a great deal of comfort knowing my puppies are covered by insurance and really appreciate Pets Plus Us following up and helping my puppy buyers to get the insurance. I tell them it is like wearing a seat belt, you may never need it, but when you do it sure is wonderful to have! I have dealt with another company that the CKC used to endorse, but Pets Plus Us has been better to work with and seem to appreciate breeders.

Claim review
Our Yellow Lab, Tucker was recently seen for an ear infection. I made a claim for the lab test and medication Tucker was give and like always Embrace covered the expenses. I can't say enough about this company, I have never had a problem, EVER! The representatives are alway polite and very helpful. I'm so glad we chose Embrace as our pet insurance company!

I am so grateful I signed up with Embrace. Unfortunately, in the past 6 months between our 3 dogs, we have had 2 major surgeries, a biopsy, and an eye issue that we still do not know the cause.

Excellent customer service
Their customer service is the bomb! I've had two dogs insured with them since 2013 and thankfully have only had wellness claims. I submitted a wellness claim recently for my mixed breed Frankie and there were 2 prescriptions put on the same claim. Embrace customer service walked me thru how to properly submit a wellness and health claim on the same form and exactly what was needed. Since I wasn't interested in claiming the prescriptions they kindly are processing just the wellness part of the claim. Saving me a lot of time and aggravation.

Disappointed
First of all, receiving a letter from Laura Bennett (CEO) is just a form letter. Secondly, the claim check I received 2 weeks ago was for a claim submitted in October of last year. And last, I would stay away from this insurance company. I have an ongoing dispute with them and get stone-walled at every turn.

Glad I chose Embrace
I took out accident/illness insurance with Embrace for my Shiba Inu after experiencing some very costly medical bills for my chow chow. At the age of 12 she tore her ACL and had to have surgery then a few months later, a day after her 13th birthday, she bloated and had to be rushed into emergency surgery. She survived and was in ICU for about 5 days but during the surgery they discovered a malignant tumor on her liver. She passed away at the age of 14. I do not in any way regret spending the money for her medical care but had I known about Embrace beforehand I would not have had to cash in on my retirement policy. Thankfully, my Shiba has only had to use the coverage for minor issues (torn dew claws which had to be surgically removed, and a tooth extraction)Embrace was very quick to review and process the claims. I have been very happy with Embrace and I truly hope that I don't have any major accidents or illnesses with my Shiba but feel relieved to know that if I do, I have the security of having Embrace to help with the costs.
