I have only had this insurance for 1 year. They did pay promptly but I was a little surprised that it went up $144 for the renewal. That seems like a big increase.

Phenomenal Customer Service
Phenomenal Customer Service....signed our Rat Terrier up for pet insurance with the hope we would never have to use it....but woke up one morning and he had vomited his breakfast and subsequently nearly lost concientiousness....Trip to ER and regular Vet and a lot of bills later...Riley has thankfully recovered...and the claims process was extraordinarily user friendly and the claims adjuster couldn't have been easier to deal with. Healthy Paws even sent a follow up subsequent to the finalization of the claim to check in on my little guy....this was a very worthwhile investment....would recommend them to all my friends and family with 4 legged babies

80% down to 50% coverage
I looked at reviews and asked them about this and I was told it was very rare for it to go down to 50% and it would only happen if someone were to submit $10,000 or more in claims for one issue. We of course we have not come close to that. We just got our letter saying it would drop to 50% coverage for everything. I am quite angry about this. She said it could go up again in 6 months. Our dog had a liver surgery and for $5000.00. We pay 42.00 a month + the 300.00 deposit which is 804.00 before we'd see anything. I'm not so sure this is worth it. I am giving it a 3 because they lied.

Had to get with a new puppy today
My dog got giardia from one of the the other dogs in the dog park. Its been a challenge treating my dog. trying to keep a bull terrier busy when he can't play with other dogs isn't easy. But I don't want to be like the ass that gave it to my dog. The claims are easy because my vet does the paperwork for me. I just pay the bill and get the reimbursement a couple days later. No muss or fuss easy peazy

Embrace is a fantastic insurance policy
I couldnt ask for better, they have always been very courteous and prompt on paying for all of my dogs health claims. Every converstaion with the representatives have been heartfelt and concern wiht my pet. I am thankful to have found them above all the othersI always recommend this company to everyone I meet espcially at my vet, I even give out cards and brouchers at dog shows!

Our dog was hit by a bicycle on the street - he appeared to be okay shortly after the accident. Late he began to have symptoms so We took him to emergency hospital. All costs were covered in accordance with our policy.The claim was easy to file and the contacts at the insurance company were accommodating, kept in communications throughout the process.

I have been very happy with ASPCA Pet Insurance and recommend it to everyone I know. My dog Cassidy (who went to heaven) had to undergo a chemo treatment, and not only did ASPCA help with paying for the treatment, and did follow up calls to see how she was doing. After she went to heaven, I got a card. My old girl, Ripley, lost her eye recently and ASPCA helped again, plus called to follow up. I think everyone should have pet insurance just as we do our own health insurance, and am very happy this my policies and my service.

Simple and Inexpensive
Most carriers will charge more for much less coverage. And, I was able to add preventative coverage and still pay less than most. Plus, when I went to utilize the preventative coverage, I followed the simple steps to file a claim and was reimbursed immediately.
