Saved my baby's life!
I went to an animal conference a few years ago and met a representative from this company. Never did I ever even consider getting pet insurance but I figured we would try it out. A few years later on my dogs 3rd birthday I was thanking God I made the right choice. My 132 pound dog inhaled a foxtail weed and popped his lung. There was absolutely no way we could have afforded the entire surgery and care. I called a representative from Embrace and found out that our policy was able to cover up to $10,000 of the procedures needed to save our baby's life. Today he is happy and healthy and is ready to see his 4th birthday. Thank you Embrace! ***the only criticism is the hours the team is available on the weekends, we needed someone on a Saturday on the West coast and they were closed.

Always outstanding service
We've had our dogs insured by Embrace since 2013, after previously having used three of their competitors. No one has treated our 'family' as well as Embrace, from the fairness of their policies to the customer service to claims processing. I can't say enough about them!

Know one at Trupanion told me that if I was to raise my deductible that any & all pre existing conditions would have to pay up to that raise in dedicateable, needless to say when I called I was furious and I do apologize for some language that I may have used but I've been with your company for just over 7 yrs and no body thought to inform us before now. I find this wrong & a break in the trust that we have had with your companyWe suck up the monthly fee raises which have been quite substantial in thaw last few yrs but this kind of breach in trust is unforgiving & has us second thinking your companies ethics

I'm disappointed with the lack of preventative measures when it comes to pets.
I'm disappointed with the lack of preventative measures when it comes to pets. I think that being preventative is more important than having to pay for surgery or medicines after the fact. For example my vet suggested even though we maintain our dogs oral health that he I have some plaque removed from his back teeth. This is far better than having to later extract teeth or deal with cavities. As an insurance company I think it would cut your costs if preventative measures were included in the benefits. This can also be said for deworming as dogs will be outside and are likely to come into contact with different types of worms. I don't think you this would be a huge cost you if you were to consider covering 90% of deworming and teeth cleaning when the vet has recommended it after preventative wellness care has been given by the owner. Seems that there are more things that are not covered them are true Trupanion.
