My, Emi, has had very few issues over her years. I have always had satisfaction with Trupanion. Any payments due we always done quickly.

The representative did not help my situation because the agreement I accepted included the 30 day elimination. I just adopted a retired guide dog about 2 months ago. She ended up with an ebola bacteria bladder infection. Next, she contracted pancreatitis and was very sick for several days. Both events were unexpected and very expensive. Though she is worth every penny, no one expects such serious health issues so soon. It is frustrating to know that none of the costs were covered and never will be, because she contracted the pancreatitis and bladder infection during or before the 30 day period. I hope there will be no further illness for a very long time, but I feel that I should have considered the details before enrolling with insurance.I respect the rules, but it seems there should be exceptions.

We got our puppy insured with ASPCA Pet Health Insurance the day after getting him and am SO relieved to have done so right away. Not only are we relieved to have gotten him insured right away, but to have picked the right pet insurance. Unexpectedly, our little guy incurred an accident that nearly killed him five days after getting him. As devastated as we were, it helped to know that we had pet insurance to help with the financial burden of a puppy being hospitalized for three days. Within one week of submitting our puppy's claim, ASPCA sent us a check covering the agreed upon services in our contract. Today we have a happy, healthy pup and praise God that we had the foresight to not only get insurance, but to have picked a company that would take care of us in our time of dire need. We highly recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance and want to say "THANK YOU!"

Great coverage, great service
We get great service and great coverage for our cats over the last few years. We have one cat who developed a heart problem at about age 8, and we are able to get him an annual cardiology appointment to give him the best possible care to help him live longer. We've been reimbursed for one knee surgery, one very sad acute illness and death, and one neurological problem of an indeterminate origin. Embrace doesn't cover dental, but when I looked into a different company that did (when we got a new cat), I found that the "dental" coverage was only for problems, not cleaning. And only in effect if your cat had an annual cleaning. That's a lot of anesthesia that may be unnecessary depending on the cat's teeth. So we continued with Embrace for the new cat. There have been no surprises, no items not covered that we thought should have been.

From skeptic to believer.
I've been paying into the insurance I purchased for Leo for over three years. I've never had a reason to use it or submit a claim until this year. My poor puppy needed an operation. The cost almost floored me and I was not sure the insurance would cover. I submitted a claim for an estimate. The estimate was processed quickly and it identified my output versus what the insurance would cover. It gave me the peace of mind that I need to approve the surgery for my beloved Leo. So, yes, like others have stated this insurance did give me that peace of mind. So glad I kept the insurance coverage and will continue to keep it.
