Wonderful coverage and customer service
We have all three of our dogs covered with Healthy Paws. Customer service is beyond good. The process to submit claims is intuitive and easy. Our lab-mix has had both his ACLs repaired. Each time Healthy Paws not only covered the procedures and reimbursed within a week, but the staff reached out and followed up to see how he was doing after the surgery. I have recommended Healthy Paws to many of my friends and associates because this company cares!

A must have for pet owners
I got a new puppy from a rescue organization. She was my first puppy in over ten years. I decided to purchase insurance to guard against any issues that might arise. I am glad I did. My new little girl has had many trips to the vet over the year. ASPCA Pet Insurance has saved my pocketbook. Their timely claim resolution is greatly appreciated. They always call with a follow up as to how my little girl is doing. Very friendly.

Indy's story
Indy's story Indy is a black -tri miniature Australian Shepherd ,who joined our family at the tender age of eight weeks in the fall of 2012 .Considering the young age of one of the family and the horrible dog experience of another ,we agreed on a puppy of a medium sized breed. I decided to buy pet insurance . I dreaded the idea of ever having to give up my dog ,because I could not afford to help him ,when help was available. (There was this hapless Lab who swallowed a ball...twice .Cost of removal $ 6000 ) Looking at insurance companies ,I found Trupanion . Trupanion allowed me to set my 'deductible' ,which determined my monthly premium .So I found a balance I could afford . Indy grew up beautifully - lovely , lively , healthy ,and loved by the whole family . In spring 2016 Indy started to pick at his food ,sometimes refusing to eat . At first the vet ,like members of my family , thought Indy simply wanted better food - my food. The vet realized I was honestly worried ,and we decided on blood tests which presented us with sky high liver enzymes, on a dog who appeared healthy ,just a little picky. We brought Trupanion into the picture . Liver supportive treatment made no difference ,and soon there was talk about a liver biopsy...It took me a while to see my way clear to consent ;eventually there was nothing else left. The biopsy was done ,and since I had long passed my deductible, Trupanion paid 90 % of the biopsy as they had done for blood tests and medication. The biopsy result was a shocker - a type of hepatitis involving a copper storage component, that would most likely become chronic. And when recovered from the biopsy ( thank you ,wonderful surgeon) Indy still seemed perfectly healthy. Now he became a patient of a lovely internist vet ,who dealt with the overload of copper first -enzymes came down 50 % .Medical treatment went on ,expensive medication and monthly blood tests continued. Prednisone had been added -enzymes came down to normal values .Now ,more than a year later, we are still working on the smallest effective dose of prednisone. Indy is on a diet for dogs with liver impairment ,appetite is more than great (prednisone).His internist is pleased with Indy's response to treatment. He does not often see this kind of problem before obvious clinical symptoms For all this time Trupanion has paid 90% of every test and all the expensive medication ,and this will go on for the foreseeable future.Service is friendly and swift. I take care of the endless 'consultations' and Indy's fancy food. Trupanion is truly my partner in allowing Indy's happy life.I don't even want to think ,what I would do without them.By the way - we are in Ontario, Canada

Most Excellent!!!
Embrace is a wonderful wonderful pet insurance company and more. The staff is super and claims are handled quickly and without a hassle. I use to show dogs in the UKC, AKC and International arenas , I had many friends with Embrace insurance and I never heard a single complaint. I strong recommend Embrace. Accidents and illness can strike any pet, but if you have giant breeds you are going to have giant bills if anything should happen. Our mastiff need surgery, two merely plates and 15 screws in his right hind leg and our Porty broke his hind leg in daycare. Sooooo glad we had Embrace Insurance. Fast and Friendly Service
My dog contracted a bacterial infection and had to be hospitalized for 2 days, and was on antibiotics for 2 weeks. Between emergency care and specialist service, total bills amounted to more than $5k. Claim submission process at ASPCA couldn't be simpler -- I just uploaded itemized receipts on the website and entered a few other details. ASPCA paid my maximum incident limit of $3k within a couple of days, no questions asked! They even called a few days later to check on our dog. They were very friendly and seemed to really care about pets.
