great coverage, if you can get a claim processed
Moving into my second policy year. I had a claim for an unexpected tooth removal during the annual cleaning. Submitted the claim and 3 weeks in the insurance company requested more documents from the veterinarian. I confirmed with the veterinarian that they had been sent, but the claim was closed with no payment and stating they needed more information. I called the insurance company who confirmed that they did not receive anything. I then called the veterinarian who said they had sent it but then recent it to me directly. I uploaded the documents to my policy and immediately called them back to reopen the claim. This was over a week ago and I have yet to receive any notification. It's now been over 5 weeks and nothing has been done. This was my first experience with using this policy at pets Best and I must say unfortunately I am disappointed. I have had pet insurance for almost 20 years now and never had this difficulty or this long of processing for a claim.
