I've already recommended Trupanion to dozens of people and will continue recommending them. When my cat had a grave injury and a septic infection as a result, he almost died. His bills were so enormous I didn't know what I'd do, especially considering my uninsured senior dog had cancer and needed surgery himself at the same time. Since the kitten was insured, I hoped for the best and Trupanion went above and beyond, even working out direct pay with a veterinary hospital that didn't accept direct payments. Trupanion covered over 10k in bills and saved my cat's life and I'll be forever grateful for that. I'll insure any eligible pet with them for now on.
