Quick Reimbursement
I did a lot of research on pet insurance before I signed with one and I'm glad I did. MetLife has really met my expectations. They have never denied a claim & their reimbursement time is pretty quick, which is really important as you have to pay up front for your pets vet bills up front. The claims submittal process is at first daunting, but once you get the hang of it, it is super easy. My only pet peeve (and hence the 4 stars) is if they need more information to complete a claim or follow through, they never have contacted me nor my vet to obtain further information/documentation. They literally just stop processing the claim in hopes (this is my belief) that you will not really notice and then before you know it the 90 day grace period has lapsed. That is why after I submit a claim, I check every couple of days what its status is, just to make sure the adjustor is not "sitting" on it. Be proactive and follow your claims closely because MetLife will not follow up after you. Other than that, they have been great in every other way.

You can pick your type of coverage needed. We have definitely saved a lot on vet bills. We got Figo insurance through Costco which added to the savings.
