Cant go wrong with Metlife
Metlife really covers a lot of things. Their plans are reasonable. The customer service people are really good. Payment is quick. Submission of claims is easy. The only painful thing is calling the main number and listening to the CEO's VERY long winded message...uggg. Otherwise, it is the best pet insurance around and I have had several.

Would not go without it!
We've been ensuring our cats with Embrace for 15 years and have nothing but good experiences. We tend to adopt cats with multiple health problems so we never hesitate to get them the care they need. Our claims are processed within a day or two, and reimbursement just a day or so later. At one point we calculated that the benefits we received from Embrace were six times what we paid in premiums. This latest incident was a potential emergency which turned out fine and Embrace came through as quickly and efficiently as ever.

Trupanion is a Scam
Trupanion refused coverage for an ear infection for my dog, claiming that for him, ear infections are a pre-existing condition. His ear infection was mild, easily treatable, and was not a chronic occurrence. But they stated that they would never cover ear infection treatment now or in the future. Do not pay for their product, it is a scam.

The customer service is great
The customer service is great, they have reimbursed me quickly which is very helpful. No problems getting pre-approval for specialized care, the pre-approval wasnt needed but I needed to make sure for my own peace of mind. Highly recommend them.

Fast payment; slow & unreliable website
Embrace Pet Insurance pays my claims reallyt fast. My complaint is with the website--it is very slow and crashes. I end up unable to file claims and have to try some time later. Then it's slow again. It happened 12 May 25 and then 20 May 2025
