Nationwide is the BEST Pet Insurance EVER!
Chloe has been a sick little pup from the beginning, starting with worms. She has two bad knees that I'm trying to hold off getting on operation on, digestive issues that give her diarrhea and make her throw-up. She also has anxiety issues. But every time we take her to the vet, I know I won't have to worry about hassles with her insurance. Nationwide's claim's team has been excellent. I upload the bill and explanation of service and I immediately receive a confirmation email. A few weeks later I receive an email to obtain a status on my claim and the next thing I know, there's a check in my mailbox. With all the health issues I have to worry about with Chloe, it's sure nice to know I don't have to worry about the insurance.

Mildly disappointed
All in all, I'm very happy to have pet insurance. My dog was attacked by another, requiring a trip to an emergency center. Total cost to me--including aftercare with our primary vet--was a bit north of $1500. I was reimbursed $800 after a $250 deductible. Better than a kick in the behind, but a little disappointing. All things considered, I'd recommend this company.

Trupanion Service Review
Our cockapoo has gastrointestinal issues and requires regular checkups and bloodwork. The service provided by Trupanion has been exceptional. Filing claims is very easy and a full explanation of claim calculation is always provided. Selecting Trupanion as our insurance provider has been one of the best decisions we have made! Thank you.

Love the direct pay option!
Paying big premiums which increase yearly and I wish your insurance covered more routine veterinary visits along with monthly preventative medications ie heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Both medications are costly but necessary for pet's health. I am not sure if you cover the dog flu vaccination but if you don't sure wish you would!

Certainly great to have pet insurance, it eases the mind when considering cost of vet expenses.
Certainly glad I had insurance for Akira when she was injured and completely torn one ligament and partially detached the other. She had to have TPLO surgery on both legs. The surgery went well and she is recovering quickly. National wide paid the maximum allowed for this type of injury, which helped out with the costs. Unfortunately, the maximum is only for TPLO on one leg, so we still bore the cost of the other leg. We were told that had she injured the other in a different claim year, it could have been covered too. We didn't choose when she got injured , if we had it would have been not at all, but still glad of the reimbursement for a portion of this cost. Thank you Nationwide!
