Very easy app
The process to submit the claim is very easy via the app. All the information and updates get communicated via email, and even when things are running slower than usual it's nice because we get a heads up through email so we are never left wondering a status of the claim.

Making claims is insanely easy and we’re thrilled about how it’s gone so far. I didn’t expect to pay so much for pet insurance but honestly it was one of the better rates for our purposes. Pretty happy, so far.

Easy reimbursement process
We are very pleased with Nationwide. We have the Wellness package which pays for our senior dog’s office visits, monthly flea & heart-worm medication, teeth cleaning, lab work, X-rays and vaccinations. Recently, our dog ruptured his ACL. Total bill was approx $5,500. We faxed the claim to Nationwide and they promptly reimbursed 90%. I can honestly say that our dog has better health insurance than us. If only human health insurance would step up, we’d all be a lot healthier.

Easy to File, Easy Payment
Our dog Oona has made several trips to the vet lately. I've been impressed with how easy the claim process has been. The clinics turn in the form and the payment now comes electronically. The only thing that's not ideal is that Oona's liver condition is not covered, so some of her claims have gone unreimbursed.
