this is our third lab and unfortunately. he has had significant health issues. Nationwide has stood by us 100%. I have recommended them many times.

Absolute RIP off
3 years with the company. For our 3 year "anniversary" , no joke they sent me an anniversary email, and said my rates would go from 80 per month to 172. NEVER FILED A CLAIM WITH THEM. Over 100% increase for mu anniversary. Absolutely bs response when I called to question. Cancelled and spreading the word.

I wouldn't be without pet insurance.
I HAVE THE RIDER that is like an HMO for health. I wish it would cover more of the shots that keep our pets healthy so they don't have big bills later on. This helps folks keep their pets too. Some folks find they cannot afford to pay for all of this so they ditch the pet or try to find a shelter for them. Many are just let loose to fend for themselves. today; they need a lot of shots because of the diseases. wild animals in the area. This rider is so important to have as it may be the only part of the plan you hopefully get to use. We hope none get sick and need the other part of the plan.

Nationwide (formally VIP) is a known company and have shown to be very communicative, care about the client and have knowledgeable associates that answer all my questions. The process is smooth and would highly recommend.

Not worth the money!!
Not worth the $$ at all. You are better putting $$ in a high yield savings account then just withdrawing from it when your pet has issues. It doesn’t cover anything that could be congenital, no pre-existing conditions and there’s a cap on certain conditions like cancer. I’ll be canceling this. I’ve had insurance for both my dogs since I’ve had them ( over 10 years for one) and it just doesn’t cover enough.

Submitting claims was easy
Submitting claims was easy. However, I was unable to use the app. I scanned and emailed the info. I received a reimbursement check quickly. I am very happy with ASPCA pet insurance.

Fraud!! Do not purchase
This is by far the biggest joke I have ever heard of. They will not get all of the proper information and then when they do they will deny as pre existing. Even in our case the paperwork sent was of the wrong animal completely. Have to go through appeals after appeals and nothing will be done except them pulling payments. They are a joke and we will be taking further action against them. Choose another company.
