Peace of mind
We were so saddened to learn of Dusty's heart condition. The next feeling was fear/guilt that we could not afford the necessary tests, treatment/medications. It was a great relief to hear the words "Trupanion has it covered." Now our little Dusty can get the care he needs to help him be comfortable. Thank you Trupanion.

Quick, easy, helpful

The only reason I give it a "5" overall (I would have scored less but I'm being generous) is that my premium raised $30/month
I recommended this insurance to so many of my "pet parent" friends. I was paying $67 month for my dog who was 1+ when I first started my insurance plan. This month (my dog was 3 in May) my premium went up to $93/month! The company said it was because they have their own costs in addition to my dog being a pure breed and over 3. I find this enormous increase in premium outrageous and canceled my full coverage. I now only carry the "major medical" plan for $45/mo. I would not recommend Nationwide any longer; or at best recommend it for a young puppy/dog and then warn my friends that the premium will skyrocket with no warning when their dog turns 3.

Easy and great value
The whole claim submission process is super easy and fast with Nationwide. I was thrilled to get so much money back after my dog's dental cleaning, which was quite pricey. Highly recommend Nationwide.
