Best decision I’ve made after choosing my puppy!
So happy we chose HealthyPaws insurance for our Lab! Enrollment was simple and when we needed to file a claim, the process was easy to do all online. Very impressed they followed up after our Daisy had surgery to see how she was recovering and extended to her their well wishes!

The best money I’ve spent in decades
I was always wary of pet insurance...now I tell everyone I can about you guys! I’ve had you for a year & you just paid for my 3 year olds surgery removal of bladder stone & it only cost me WITH my deductible $400! You saved me $2,000!! & someone always answers the phone when I call & my online account is so helpful and up-to-date!

Great prices and customizable options… BUT
Great prices and customizable options to lower one's premium. One thing I do not like at all is the lifetime single event claim clause. So if my dog has Colitis and if she gets it again in her liftetime, then you will not cover it anymore.

By far the best pet insurance company around!
Healthy Paws is one of the best pet insurance companies I've dealt with! I have had experience with two other companies and HP is by far the best! The claim submission is easy, the reimbursement rates are high (mine are 80%), the rates are reasonable and the customer service is superb. I highly recommend them.. for example, my German Shepherd within 10 days time had knee surgery and then ended up in the ER, costing me about $8400 in 10 days, I submitted the claims to HP and received $6400 in reimbursements! AND received those fund quickly! The knee surgery in 3 weeks and the ER in less than 2! This is huge when you have those type of vet bills - they even emailed me personally to check on the patient! Absolutely amazing company!

Easy to File a Claim but it Takes a While to Process
I submit claims through the VitusVet app. It's easy to submit the claim via the app. My only issue is that it takes a couple of days from when you submit the claim on the app to receive an email confirming that your claim was received. It takes even more longer to process the claim (sometimes a few weeks).
