pretty darn good product
this is our third year with Nationwide Pet and so far it has been a very useful insurance and very easy to file claims and receive the payments via EFT to our bank. If you take good care of your pet the costs can get out of hand, but with this product it is better managed. The cost of the insurance is well worth the protection it gives.

Not happy with the price going up more than 50%
I am not happy with the monthly increase of more than 50%. How can it go up from $80.54 to $125.00 ? is it because of the claims submitted? Isn't that why we have insurance?

7 years of frequent claims and never had an issue. Healthy Paws has been a godsend!
My American Bulldog has had more than her fair share of health issues, from joint issues to heart troubles to allergies. Once, she reacted to a medication and needed to spend a few days at a pet hospital, which resulted in a several-thousand-dollar bill. Luckily, she's insured through Healthy Paws. There is no way we would have been able to take care of all of her health needs for these past 7 years without it. Submitting invoices is easy, and we've never had any hassles with them not covering stuff. They've truly been a godsend and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Having Healthy Paws as our pet insurance was the smartest thing I have ever done!
Four years ago, we decided that we wanted to add a fur baby to our family. His name is Seamus. Being first time pet owners, we knew the first and most important thing was to get good pet insurance. Having done some research, we found Healthy Paws. They offer broad coverage and a reasonable monthly fee that we can afford. Just recently Seamus cracked two of his teeth chewing on a bully bone and had to have them removed! An unexpected cost like that can be stressful. It was comforting to know that Healthy Paws was there to cover 90% of the cost. We highly recommended Healthy Paws to pet owners. Submitting a claim is so easy and they are quick to reimburse us. We can't thank Healthy Paws enough for the personal touch. They always follow up by emailing to check on how Seamus is feeling.

Beyond happy
I’ve been a member of the healthy paws family for about a year: 4 months ago my 6 year old tabby started having chronic ear infections. We have been to 3 different vets with so far 10 appointments and 14 claims to insurance for visits and medicine. Healthy paws has made the process of submitting and filing claims so easy. Even reaching out via email to check on her wellbeing. When you call, the customer service team is so compassionate. I am very happy I chose them to be my kitties health care.

dog in pain but my wallet was not
Our dachshund Lea developed back pain to a point that she was almost paralyzed. Our vet gave her medication but it did not seem to help so it was suggested to visit a clinic specialized in spine treatment. At first they treated Lea with more medication but since nothing seemed to help, there was only one solution, MRI and a subsequent operation. The bill amounted to little over $ 7,000 and I was so happy that I had Healthy Pet insurance since they took over 90 % of the amount. It was so easy to file a claim and it was settled within very few days. Check came right after. I highly recommend this insurance to all pet owners.
